力により該タイヤを回転駆動して該自転車の前進力を発
生するように構成される。(ヘ)該架台と該シャシの間
の適宜の位置に設けられた該接離機構はカム機構 及びバネ機構を備えて該駆動輪と該タイヤとを自在に圧
着若しくは離脱させる作用と共に圧着力を調節する作用
を備える。また該カム機構には、カムを手動若しくは電
動で操作するためのカム軸と、把手若しくは電動結合部
を備える。 (ト)前記制御回路は、大スプロケット部等に別途備え
られた踏力検出手段(足踏みによって発生する踏力を検
出する手段)から導入された踏力信号と、駆動輪部等に
別途備えられた駆動輪回転速度検出手段から導入された
速度信号とを基に前記電動機に対する供給電流を適宜変
更若しくは遮断する電子回路を備える。
