Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep appearance excellent by processing an end part of a skin integrated resin molded article so that sections of a base, a cushion foam material and others may not seen from outside by a simple end part processing wherein the end part is pressed and heated. SOLUTION: The end part side (r) of a skin integrated resin molded article R made to protrude laterally from a backing face 1a of a backing jig 11 is pressed from the skin material 3 side by a heating plate 10 made to heat to a temperature of a melting point of a thermoplastic resin base 1 or above and thereby the base 1 is softened by heating and bent to the direction perpendicular practically to the backing face 1a of the backing jig 11. Thereby the end part side (r) of the skin integrated resin molded article R is formed to be faced with a skin material 3.

2. Description of the Related Art As an example of a roof lining for automobiles as an integral skin resin molded product, as shown in FIG. 4, a polypropylene-based thermoplastic resin mixed with reinforced glass fiber is used as a lining substrate 1 and a polyurethane slab cushion foam is used. A tricot made of polyester lined with a material 2 is used as a skin material 3, and an olefin-based hot melt 4 is used as an adhesive 4 to preheat and then cold-pressed to apply a skin simultaneous adhesion molding process. .

[0003] The roof lining is formed so that an end portion thereof is bent obliquely toward the roof side of the vehicle body. Also,
This end portion is subjected to a terminal treatment for cutting off and removing a terminal such as an excess skin material.

If the end portion is simply cut as shown in FIG. 5, the thickness of the lining base material 1 and the cushion foam material 2 etc. is changed to a black coating of the window glass W in a mounted state on the vehicle interior ceiling. Since it is located below F and may be seen from the outside, it is not preferable in appearance. In addition, when the end surface is in contact with another adjacent member, abnormal noise or the like is generated due to vibration during traveling, and the skin material 3 is liable to peel off from the end due to friction or the like. is there.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 6, if the terminal of the skin material 3 is wound around the back side from the end of the lining base material 1 and adhered and fixed, the thickness of the lining base material 1, the cushion foam material 2 and the like is increased. Are not visible from the outside, and the skin material 3 can be prevented from peeling off from the end. However, since this terminal treatment cannot be performed at the same time as the preheating cold press bonding of the lining base material 1 and the skin material 3, the bonding treatment must be separately performed using an adhesive.
The bonding process is not only time-consuming, but also may impair the working environment.
This is not preferable because it is likely to occur at the entangled portion of the slab.

Receiving jig 10 used for this terminal processing
Since the roof lining R, whose terminal side r is bent obliquely toward the roof side of the vehicle body, is mounted on the receiving surface 10a on the lining substrate 1 side, the outer periphery of the receiving surface 10a is inclined downward. Are formed as inclined surfaces. Also,
Jig 10 which receives lining substrate 1 by pressing by hot plate 11
The outer peripheral edge of the receiving jig 10 is formed as a wedge-shaped overhanging flange portion because the outer peripheral edge of the receiving jig 10 is bent and pressed from the receiving surface 10a to the jig side surface 10b in a substantially perpendicular direction.

When the synthetic resin forming the lining substrate 1 is a polypropylene-based thermoplastic resin,
Since the melting point is about 160 ° C., the heat may be applied to about 160 to 200 ° C. which is higher than the melting point. This hot plate 1
Numeral 1 is made of a metal material such as iron having good thermal conductivity, and is formed so that heat transfer temperature can be efficiently transferred to the terminal side of the roof lining R. Further, the hot plate 11 is provided so as to be able to cope with the end processing around the outer periphery of the roof lining R. According to the temperature setting of the hot plate 11, even if an olefin-based hot melt is used as the adhesive 4, the softening point is about 90 to 110 ° C., so that the softening point can be heated and softened together with the lining substrate 1.

With the pressure drop by the hot plate 11,
As shown in FIG. 2, the end side r of the roof lining R protruding laterally from the receiving surface 10a of the receiving jig 10 is pressed from the skin material 3 side, and the lining base material 1 is heated and softened. It is bent in a direction substantially perpendicular to the receiving surface 10a of the tool 10. Further, since the terminal side r is bent in a direction substantially perpendicular to the receiving surface 10a of the receiving jig 10 and pressed against the jig side surface 10b within the gap G, the cushion foam material 2 is compressed and the adhesive 4 In addition, the softened resin component of the lining base material 1 impregnates the cushion foam material 2 to the skin material 3 side. Thereby, the end portion r of the roof lining R is pressed and formed to be thin, so that the end surface can be formed to be surfaced with the skin material 3.

The receiving surface 1 of the jig 10 receives the end r.
By bending and pressing the jig side surface 10b in a direction substantially perpendicular to 0a, the adhesive 4 and the softened resin component of the lining base material 1 are impregnated into the skin material 3 side, and the end side r is pressed into a thin wall. Therefore, the skin material 3 can be tightly adhered to the lining base material 1, so that the skin material 3 can be reliably prevented from peeling from the end. In addition, since the end surface is thin and surface-formed with the skin material 3, even if it comes into contact with the window glass W, generation of abnormal noise and the like can be suppressed.

As described above, according to the method for treating the end portion of the skin-integrated resin molded product according to the first aspect of the present invention, the end of the skin-integrated resin molded product protruding laterally from the receiving surface of the receiving jig. Part is pressed with a hot plate heated to a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the base material from the skin material side, and the base material is softened by heating and bent in a direction substantially perpendicular to the receiving surface of the receiving jig. By applying a simple pressing process to form the end of the molded product with the surface material, the end surface can be formed with the surface material and the thickness of the base material, cushion foam material, etc. is not visible from the outside It is possible to keep the appearance good because it can be formed.

According to the method for treating the end of a skin-integrated resin molded product according to the second aspect of the present invention, the end of the skin-integrated resin molded product protruding laterally from the receiving surface of the receiving jig is placed on the skin material side. Pressed with a hot plate heated from above, and the base material is softened by heating and bent and pressed against the side of the jig in a direction substantially perpendicular to the receiving surface of the receiving jig, and the adhesive and the softened resin of the base material By impregnating the skin material side with the component, by forming the end portion of the skin-integrated resin molded product that is pressed and molded into a thin wall with the skin material,
The skin material can be tightly bonded to the base material, and the skin material can be reliably prevented from peeling off from the end. Further, since the end surface is thin and surface-formed with a skin material, even if the end surface comes into contact with another adjacent member, the end processing can be performed so as to suppress generation of abnormal noise and the like. .
