Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve torsional rigidity by mounting a member connecting left and right car body frames in the vicinity of the front part or the rear part of an outrigger and at the location on the lower surface of a car body frame. SOLUTION: An outrigger 20 is fixed to the lower part of a car body frame 10 and a reinforcing member 30 is provided in the front part of the outrigger 20 and in the lower part of a car body frame with respect to a type in which an outrigger beam horizontally extends in the left and right directions (an H type outrigger). The reinforcing member 30 may be provided on the rear part of the outrigger 20. The reinforcing member 30 is a plate having L-shaped cross section and is welded and fixed to the lower part of the car body frame 10 and the front part of an outrigger box up to the full width of the car body frame 10. At both the end parts of the reinforcing member 30, plates on which holes are opened at the center are mounted. Thus, the structure of the car body frame 10 is strengthened and torsional rigidity is improved by providing the reinforcing member 30.

部に固着されてアウトリガビーム22が水平に伸縮する
タイプのもの(H型アウトリガ)と、アウトリガボック
ス21の一端が車体フレーム10に回転自在に取り付け
られており、アウトリガビーム22が伸びるのと同時に
アウトリガボックス21の他端が下がるようになってい
るタイプのもの(X型アウトリガ)とがある(図5、図
6参照)。

に設けてもよい。このように補強部材30が左右の車体
フレームを連結するので、車体フレームの構造が強化さ
れ、ねじり剛性が向上するのである。
