Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone handset for increasing the degrees of freedom in design and facilitating the design by providing an outer side housing provided with a rear component and a front component, providing the front component with a skirt part on the outer periphery and forming the skirt part to have and be overlapped with the periphery of the rear component. SOLUTION: This handset is provided with the outer side housing constituted of two molded parts composed of the rear component 10 and the front component 11. The front component 11 is provided with a skirt part 11a on the outer periphery, and the skirt part 11a receives the outer periphery of the rear component 10 and is fitted to it. The front component 11 is fixed onto the rear component 10 by three integrated type clips and a pair of screw components. One clip is formed by a tongue piece part turned to the inner side of the skirt part 11a at one end of the front component 11. For the shape of the front component 11, a front surface is nonlinear and the free end edge of the skirt part 11a is also nonlinear. By changing the shape of the front surface of the front component 11 and the free end edge of the skirt part 11a, marked deformation is given to the appearance of the handset.
