Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record electrocardiographic data securely in a few chances of a patient who has a subjective symptom of intense pain even though only few, by providing a power ON/OFF switch to start/finish electrocardiographic signal recording. SOLUTION: This cardiograph main body 1 has a cell storage part 2, a socket 3 to play a role of a connector for interface to connect with an external analyzer, and a switch 4 to start/finish recording. The switch 4 also works to control a power source and a clock and is placed on the upper face of the main body 1 so as to enable to perform ON/OFF operation through a shirt, etc., in a condition fitting the main body on a user's body. A user fits the electrocardiograph on his/her body by him-/her-self. When an attack such as an intense pain occurred, the user (a subject) turns the switch 4 ON to start recording electrocardiographic information data in a memory. Then immediately he/she goes to a medical organization and can have a doctor analyze and diagnose.

A conventional Holter monitor using a magnetic tape has a relatively large device, is heavy, and has poor portability. This caused discomfort to the user. If the recording is limited to 24 hours (or 48 hours) and no seizure occurs during that time, the recorded data is wasted. I had to go to the hospital again for the next test.

However, for patients who have a low frequency of heart attacks, there is a case where it is difficult for the doctor to know the condition, and the treatment tends to be delayed. One of the objects of the present invention is to make it possible for a patient having a less frequent but severely painful subjective symptom, once every one to two months, to reliably record electrocardiographic data on such a small opportunity. An electrocardiograph is provided. Another object of the present invention is to provide an effective electrocardiograph that can reduce the size and weight of the device (electrocardiograph), does not hinder the user's daily life, and can be worn for a long time without causing discomfort. Provide a portable electrocardiograph that can collect data.

FIG. 2 shows a circuit diagram of the present invention. When the dead sensor is 5e, the electrocardiographic signals from the respective electrocardiographic sensors 5a to 5d are amplified by the differential amplifier circuits 7a to 7d, respectively, pass through the sample and hold circuits 8a to 8d, and are output from the respective electrocardiographic sensors by the multiplexer 9. Are fetched into one by time division, A / D converted, and recorded in the built-in memory 11.
The recorded electrocardiographic information data is sent to an external analyzer / inspection device (not shown) through the socket 3 as a connector. The switch 4 is a switch for starting and stopping recording, and the control circuit 12 controls the recording operation. At the same time, power consumption is controlled. The control circuit 12 performs clock / timing control, memory control, and the like in addition to the above-described recording control and power supply control. In addition, it is possible to have a clock function omitted here and record / non-record time data in the memory 11. Here, the switch 4 for controlling the recording start / stop can be arbitrarily operated by the wearer.

Next, an example of use when the electrocardiograph of the present invention is used will be described. The user (subject = patient) wears the electrocardiograph by himself. The main body and the electrocardiographic sensor are stuck to predetermined positions with an adhesive bandage or the like so as not to easily come off. ECG sensor 5a
5d is pulled out from the winding part storage part 6 by a necessary length so that the sensor cord does not sag. First, the switch 4 is turned off. That is, when there is no subjective symptom of a seizure, the electrocardiographic information is not recorded, and the whole circuit is put into a sleep mode to suppress battery consumption. Thereafter, when an attack such as upset, compression, arrhythmia, and severe pain occurs, the subject turns on the switch 4 to release the sleep mode of the circuit and starts recording the electrocardiographic information data in the memory 11. It is possible to immediately go to a medical institution and take out data from the socket 3 which is a connector for the external interface of the apparatus 1 for analysis and diagnosis. If you feel inconvenience in your daily life after wearing for a long time, for example, when taking a bath, you can easily remove it yourself. At the time of storage, the cords of the sensors 5b to 5e are wound up into the winding storage unit 6.

Next, an approximate calculation of the recordable time when the memory capacity is assumed to be 2 megabytes will be described. Assuming that the number of electrocardiographic sensors excluding the dead sensor is 4, the resolution is 8 bits, and the sampling frequency per sensor is 100 Hz, the data for one second is 4 × 8 × 100 = 3200 (bits). Therefore, in 2 Mbytes, it takes 5000 seconds, that is, slightly over 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Since the seizure is as long as a few minutes to about 30 minutes, the electrocardiographic information at the time of the seizure and thereafter is sufficiently recorded. When transmitting data to an external computer or an analysis / inspection device, the clock can be set to several MHz and high-speed transfer can be performed.

As described above, according to the configuration and method of the present invention, it is possible to reduce the size and weight of the holter electrocardiograph much more than before, and it is not inconvenient to wear it for a long time. This makes it possible to miss an opportunity to record a seizure with only the 24-hour recording so far, and to provide a very effective examination / diagnosis device for patients who have not been effectively treated.
