The insertion portion 63 of the electrical contact 1 is terminated to the termination portion 20 of the electrical contact 1, and the insulator 61 side of the conductive member 60 is pressed by the protrusion 34 of the elastic pressing piece 33, so that the conductor portion 62 of the conductive member 60 is The edge of the substantially circular hole 38 is substantially circumferentially contacted. Thus, in the present embodiment, the conductive member 60
Is terminated to the electric contact 1 and the elastic contact portion 30 of the electric contact 1 elastically contacts the conductive member 60, so that the contact property of the electric contact 1 to the conductive member 60 becomes stable. The conductive member 6 of the elastic contact portion 30
0 at the time of elastic contact with the conductive portion 6 of the conductive member 60.
2 is substantially circumferentially in contact with the hole edge of the substantially circular hole 38,
The contact area is larger than in the case where the conductor portion 62 contacts in a point-like or linear manner, so that heat concentration does not occur at the contact portion, and the risk of heat generation is avoided.

1. A terminating portion for terminating a flat conductive member having a foil-shaped conductor portion provided on both sides or one surface of a flat insulator, and an elastic contact portion elastically contacting the conductive member. The elastic contact portion has an elastic pressing piece having a substantially spherical protrusion for pressing the conductive member, and the conductive member opposing the protrusion of the elastic pressing piece and being pressed by the protrusion. And a substantially circular hole having a hole edge with which the conductor of the conductive member is contacted in a substantially circumferential shape.
