Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bathing agent composition containing a clouding agent comprising an inorganic pigment covered with a water-soluble polymer and a cationic polymer and capable of dispersing the clouding agent in a bath in good dispersion state over a long period. SOLUTION: This bathing agent composition contains 0.5-10wt.% of an inorganic pigment (e.g. titanium dioxide) coated with a water-soluble polymer (e.g. high mol.wt. polyethylene glycol) and 0.1-5wt.% of a cationic polymer. The cationic polymer is preferably a cationized cellulose having a mol.wt. of 100,000-2,000,000 and a nitrogen content of 0.15-0.4wt.%. The water-soluble polymer-coated inorganic agent and the cationic polymer are especially compounded in a weight ratio of 1/4 to 4, in whose ratio range the water-soluble polymer-coated inorganic pigment is especially stably dispersed. Since the composition exhibits good dispersion stability over a long period without relating to the concentration of the added composition in the hot water of the bath, the unpleasant precipitation of the clouding agent on the bottom of the bath can be prevented.

2. Description of the Related Art Bathing is known to have various effects, including the effect of relaxing the body and relaxing. Recently, cloudy type bath preparations have been developed in order to enjoy the atmosphere of a hot spring in a home bathtub in expectation of a psychological effect. This type is generally known as a type in which an inorganic pigment is blended to make the bath water cloudy. The opaque type bath additive contains an inorganic pigment insoluble in water as a turbidity agent.
There is a problem in that even if it is thrown into a bath, it sinks in a few minutes and accumulates at the bottom of the bath to give discomfort.
Therefore, various measures have been taken to maintain the dispersion stability of the inorganic pigment. For example, a method of treating an inorganic fine powder with a hydrophilic surfactant (JP-A-49-116223), A method of improving dispersibility by coating with sodium polyacrylate (JP-B-48-32413) and a method of using an inorganic pigment coated with a water-soluble polymer (JP-A-63-57516) are exemplified. In any case, surface treatment of inorganic powders such as titanium oxide is performed to improve dispersibility in bath water and improve sedimentation prevention. Not enough.

Means for Solving the Problems The inventors of the present invention have conducted intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, and as a result, the combination of a clouding agent comprising an inorganic pigment coated with a water-soluble polymer and a cationic polymer has resulted in the following day. It is intended to provide a bathing agent which does not cause precipitation of a clouding agent even when the remaining hot water is used. That is, the present invention relates to a bath agent composition comprising a water-soluble polymer-coated inorganic pigment and a cationized polymer, and the present invention will be described in detail below.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The water-soluble polymer-coated inorganic pigment used in the present invention is an inorganic pigment obtained by coating the surface of an inorganic pigment with a water-soluble polymer, and itself acts as a clouding agent dispersed in bath water. Is what you do. The inorganic pigment used in the present invention is not particularly limited, and is a white pigment or a colored pigment, and examples thereof include titanium oxide, zinc oxide, calcium carbonate, magnesium oxide, talc, and iron oxide, and titanium oxide is particularly preferable. . The water-soluble polymer used for coating the inorganic pigment is not particularly limited. For example, hydroxymethyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, dextrin, gelatin, carrageenan, polyvinyl alcohol, high molecular weight polyethylene glycol ( Average molecular weight 1
10,000 to 30,000) and polyacrylates. Among these, polyacrylate, hydroxyethyl cellulose, and high molecular weight polyethylene glycol are preferable, and polyacrylate and high molecular weight polyethylene glycol are particularly preferable in terms of versatility and dispersibility. These water-soluble polymers can be used alone or in combination of two or more.

The method for producing the water-soluble polymer-coated inorganic pigment of the present invention is not particularly limited, and JP-A-49-116223 and JP-B-48-32413 are exemplified above.
It can be manufactured by the method described in Japanese Patent Publication No. The mixing ratio of the water-soluble polymer to the total amount of the inorganic pigments constituting the water-soluble polymer-coated inorganic pigment is 5 to 30% by weight, preferably 8 to 13% by weight. If the compounding ratio is less than 5% by weight, the dispersibility is poor, and if it exceeds 30% by weight, the effect remains unchanged.

[0008] The compounding amount of the water-soluble polymer-coated inorganic pigment is 0.5 to 10% by weight, preferably 1 to 6% by weight, based on the total amount of the composition. If the amount is less than 0.5% by weight, the turbidity is inferior. If the amount exceeds 10% by weight, the bath water becomes too turbid, which is not preferable.

The cationized polymer used in the present invention is not particularly limited.
Examples include quaternary nitrogen-containing compounds such as cationized guar gum, cationized dextrin, dimethyldiallylammonium chloride / acrylamide copolymer, among which cationized cellulose, cationized guar gum, and cationized dextrin are preferable, and cationized cellulose is particularly preferable. Is preferred. These cationized polymers can be used alone or in combination of two or more. Furthermore, in the case of cationized cellulose, from the viewpoint of solubility in bath water, the molecular weight is 100,000 to 2,000,000, and the degree of cationization (the number of moles of the cationic group added per glucose) is 0.15 to 0.15.
0.4 is preferred. When the molecular weight exceeds 2,000,000 or the degree of cationization exceeds 0.4, discomfort such as slimy feeling occurs during bathing, and when the molecular weight is less than 100,000 or the degree of cationization is less than 0.15, a clouding agent is produced. Is inferior in stabilizing effect. The amount of the cationized polymer is 0.1 to 5% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 3% by weight based on the total amount of the composition.
If the amount is less than 0.1% by weight, the dispersion stabilization of the clouding agent is impaired, and if it exceeds 5% by weight, the feel of the skin during bathing is impaired, which is not preferable.

The compounding ratio of the water-soluble polymer-coated inorganic pigment to the cationized polymer is preferably 1/4 to 4 (weight ratio). In this range, the water-soluble polymer-coated inorganic pigment is dispersed particularly stably. The bath agent composition of the present invention, in addition to the essential components, known inorganic salts, organic acids, pigments, fragrances, oils, moisturizing components, and crude drug components that are commonly used in bath agents as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired. They can be appropriately blended.
