On the other hand, when a device to which the transfer rubber roller is attached is a copying machine or the like, a plurality of sheet-like transfer materials (paper) laminated by the charged static electricity adhere to the device and are simultaneously transferred. For this reason, static electricity countermeasures are taken by forming the transfer rubber roller of conductive rubber and attaching a static elimination brush to the device. The brush also plays a role of scraping off and removing paper dust and dust adhering to the outer peripheral surface of the transfer rubber roller.

However, in the transfer rubber roller having an uneven surface on the outer peripheral surface of the roller member, the projection end of the protrusion of the roller member which comes into contact with the sheet-like conveyed material has paper dust or dust. Is difficult to adhere, but easily adheres in the recess. The paper dust and dust adhering in the concave portion accumulate in the concave portion, and when the accumulation progresses to some extent, the dust gradually falls between the sheet-like conveyed material and the roller member to cause a slip (slip phenomenon). There is.

When the transfer rubber roller 1 is mounted, the protruding end of the projection 2c of the roller member 2 exposed from the release layer 4 of the roller member 2 comes into contact with the sheet S, ie, the paper. Therefore, the feeding and discharging operation of the sheet-like conveyed material S can be reliably performed without lowering the rubber characteristics and the friction coefficient of the roller member 2. On the other hand, the paper dust of the sheet-like conveyed material S enters the concave portion 2b of the roller member 2 as in the related art, but since the release layer 4 having slipperiness is formed in the concave portion 2b, The paper powder hardly adheres to the inside of the recess 2b, and even if it adheres, the paper dust easily peels off from the inside of the recess 2b due to the wind pressure due to the rotation of the roller member 2 and the like. Do not invade. As a result, the characteristics and the friction coefficient of the rubber constituting the roller member 2 can be maintained.

The static electricity charged in the copying machine is reliably grounded from the release layer 4 through the sleeve 3 and the drive shaft 5 by the conductive material mixed with the fluorine coating material forming the release layer 4. To remove electricity. Also,
The static electricity charged on the sheet-like conveyed material S stacked in the copying machine can also be grounded because the release layer 4 also comes into contact with the sheet-like conveyed material S by pressing the roller member 2 against the sheet-like conveyed material S.

When it is not necessary to take a countermeasure against static electricity on the transfer rubber roller 1, it is not necessary to mix a conductive material with the fluorine coating material, and the side surface of the roller member 2 including the sleeve 3 is not required. It is not necessary to apply a fluorine coating material, and the release layer 4 may be provided only in the recess 2b. Similarly, when it is not necessary to take a countermeasure against static electricity, instead of the fluorine coating material, the roller member 2 is coated with a rubber surface treatment solution composed of a mixed solution of ethyl acetate and a chlorine compound, and the rubber is subjected to double bonding. The rubber layer may be subjected to an additional synthesis reaction by utilizing a chemical reaction with the release layer 4 to have a slippery property and a small tackiness. According to this surface treatment liquid, the bloom phenomenon can be prevented and a glossy surface can be obtained.

The method for forming the release layer 4 is not limited to coating, but the roller member 2 is immersed in a chemical bath containing a molten fluorine coating material or a surface treatment liquid.
It may be formed by a so-called dipping method. further,
The concavo-convex portions 2b and 2c formed on the roller member 2 may be formed by first forming the roller member 2 into a column shape and then polishing the outer peripheral surface thereof.

As is apparent from the above description, in the rubber transfer roller of the present invention, since a slippery release layer is provided on the inner surface of the concave portion of the roller member, paper dust, dust and the like are provided in the concave portion. The paper dust and dust are hardly adhered to even if they enter, and even if they adhere, they can be easily removed by rotation of a drive shaft or the like, and the accumulation in the concave portion can be reliably prevented. Therefore, the rubber property and the friction coefficient of the protruding end of the convex portion of the roller member exposed from the release layer can be maintained, and the sheet-like conveyed material can be surely conveyed without causing a slip (slip phenomenon). be able to. Further, since the release layer comes into contact with the sheet-like conveyed object by pressing the roller member against the sheet-like conveyed object, the abrasion resistance can be improved.

Further, a sleeve for attaching to the drive shaft is formed of a conductive material, a conductive material is blended with the fluorine coating material forming the release layer, and the fluorine coating material containing the conductive material is coated on the sleeve. When the release layer is formed in this manner, static electricity charged to the device to which the rubber transfer roller is attached can be reliably grounded without variation, and can be removed. Furthermore, the static electricity charged on the sheet-like conveyed material stacked in the apparatus can be grounded at the same time because the release layer comes into contact with the sheet-like conveyed material by pressing the roller member.
