Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.筋ジストロフィーに冒された患者の成長期の不安定な脊柱の早期固定を行う ための脊柱用器具ロッド(5)において、このロッドは、全ての方向で剛性の腰 仙部分(6)である第1部分と、脊柱側湾症を阻止するため、額面(Ox、Oz )内で剛性であり、矢状面(Ox、Oy)内で可撓性の胸椎部分(7)である第 2部分とを有し、断面形状が異なるこれらの二つの部分は、胸椎−腰椎移行ゾー ン(8)によって連結されており、この移行ゾーンの断面形状は、このゾーン内 での断面二次モーメントができるだけ一定であるように徐々に変化する、ことを 特徴とするロッド。 2.前記腰仙部分(6)は円筒形であり且つ粗面(9)を有し、前記胸椎部分( 7)は、矩形断面であり、その長い方の長さ(l3)は額面(Ox、Oz)内に あり、前記移行ゾーン(8)の断面は、前記円筒形部分の端部から徐々に矩形に 移行し且つ減少し、その額面(xz)内での厚さ(e)が徐々に小さくなるが、 矢状面(xy)内での幅(l)は徐々に大きくなり、かくして、この移行ゾーン の断面形状はその断面二次モーメントがこの移行ゾーンの全長に亘ってほぼ一定 のままであるようになっている、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のロッド。 3.前記胸椎部分(7)の厚さ(e2)は、前記移行ゾーン(8)からその自由 端まで徐々に小さくなるが、この胸椎部分の額面(Ox、Oz)内での幅(l) は、位置決めを容易にするために徐々に大きくなり、次いで、その自由端まで徐 々に小さくなる、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のロッド。 4.前記円筒形部分(6)の前記粗面(9)は、前記移行ゾーン(8)の開始前 に中断し、平滑な表面を持つゾーン(11)によって前記移行ゾーン(8)から 分離されている、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のロッド。 5.dは、前記円筒形部分(6)の直径(単位:mm)であり、Iは、その断面の 断面二次モーメントであり、前記円筒形部分の剛性Rは、前記断面二次モーメン ト、即ち、 I=πd4/64(単位:mm4)と正比例し、 bは、前記ロッドの前記矩形部分の断面の前記額面(Ox、Oz)での長さで あり、即ち前記ロッドの前記矩形部分の厚さであり、hは、その前記矢状面(O x、Oy)での幅であり、この矩形部分の剛性は、前記断面二次モーメント(I )と正比例し、これは、曲げ/延ばし移動中、前記矢状面において、 Iz=bh3/12であり、 更に、前記円筒形断面の抵抗は、撓み抵抗率に比例し、 I/v=πd3/32(mm3)であり、 同様に、前記矩形断面の抵抗は、 Iz/v=bh2/6(矢状面)であり且つ Iy/v=hb2/6(額面)であり、 矢状面でのロッドの大きな抵抗は、高い撓み抵抗率、即ち Mf=Iz/v=bh2/6と対応し、 矢状面でのロッドの小さな抵抗は、曲げ移動時のロッドの相対的な可撓性、従 って小さな断面二次モーメント、即ち If=Iz=bh3/12と対応し、 額面でのロッドの大きな抵抗は、高い撓み抵抗率、即ち Ms=Iz/v=bh2/6と対応し、 額面でのロッドの大きな剛性は、大きな断面二次モーメント、即ち Is=Iy=hb3/12と対応する、 ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のロッド。 6.剛性に対して優先順位を与えることによって、b及びhを以下の関係、即ち によって決定する、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のロッド。 7.抵抗に対して優先順位を与えることによって、b及びhを以下の関係、即ち によって決定する、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のロッド。 8.筋ジストロフィーに冒された患者の成長期の脊柱の固定を行うための器具に おいて、前記脊柱に取り付けるための手段を備えた二つの脊柱ロッド(5)を有 し、各ロッドは、全ての方向で剛性の腰仙部分(6)である第1部分と、脊柱側 湾症を阻止するため、額面(Ox、Oz)内で剛性であり、矢状面(Ox、Oy )内で可撓性の胸椎部分(7)である第2部分とを有し、断面形状が異なるこれ らの二つの部分は、胸椎−腰椎移行ゾーン(8)によって連結されており、この 移行ゾーンの断面形状は、このゾーン内での断面二次モーメントができるだけ一 定であるように徐々に変化する、ことを特徴とする器具。
