Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 裏地部分のパターン化アレイを含む少なくとも2つの主面を有する裏地で あって、隣接する裏地部分は分離されて前記裏地を貫通して延在する複数の開口 を形成し、前記開口は前記裏地全体に均一に分散して前記裏地の前記主面の各々 の面積の約20%〜約80%を占める裏地と、 前記部分のアレイに接着固定され、前記開口の周囲に配置された複数の研磨表 面を形成する研磨材料のコーティングとを備え、該研磨表面は単一の研磨表面と して共同機能するとともに前記開口は屑を通すことができるように構成されてい ることを特徴とする研磨材製品。 2. 前記裏地は、メリヤス材料、織材料、不織材料およびこれらの組み合わせ からなる群から選択される材料で作製される請求の範囲第1項に記載の研磨材製 品。 3. 前記複数の開口の軸方向の寸法は、約0.5mm〜約20mmの範囲であ る請求の範囲第1項に記載の研磨材製品。 4. 前記複数の開口の前記各々が、六角形をしている請求の範囲第1項に記載 の研磨材製品。 5. 前記部分のパターン化アレイはさらに、複数の第1の部分と複数の第2の 部分とを含み、前記第2の部分の表面積は前記第1の部分の表面積よりも大きく 、前記第1および前記第2の部分は前記複数の開口の周囲に配置されている請求 の範囲第1項に記載の研磨材製品。 6. 前記研磨材料のコーティングは、研磨粒子が分散された研磨材バインダー を含む請求の範囲第1項に記載の研磨材製品。 7. 前記バインダーは、本質的に、フェノール樹脂と、ペンダントα,β-不 飽和カルボニル基を有するアミノプラスト樹脂と、ウレタン樹脂、エポキシ樹脂 、エチレン系不飽和樹脂、アクリル化イソシアヌレート樹脂、尿素ホルムアルデ ヒド樹脂、イソシアヌレート樹脂、アクリル化ウレタン樹脂、アクリル化エポキ シ樹脂、ビスマレイミド樹脂、フルオレン変性エポキシ樹脂およびこれらの組み 合わせからなる群から選択される熱硬化性樹脂接着剤である請求の範囲第6項に 記載の研磨材製品。 8. 前記研磨粒子は、本質的に、酸化アルミニウムの粒子、シリコンカーバイ ド粒子、アルミナジルコニア粒子、ダイアモンド粒子、セリア粒子、立方晶窒化 ホウ素粒子、ざくろ石粒子およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される 材料を含み、前記酸化アルミニウムは、セラミック酸化アルミニウム、熱処理酸 化アルミニウム、白色溶融酸化アルミニウムおよびこれらの組み合わせからなる 群から選択される請求の範囲第6項に記載の研磨材製品。 9. 少なくとも2つの面を有する裏地材料であって、該裏地を貫通して延在し ている複数の開口の周囲に配置された部分のパターン化アレイを有するとともに 、前記開口は前記裏地の前記面の各々の面積の約20%〜約80%を占める裏地 を提供し、 前記部分のアレイに接着固定された研磨材層を前記裏地の少なくとも一方の面 に塗布し、前記部分の前記開口の周囲に研磨表面を形成し、 前記研磨材層を塗布した後に前記裏地を研磨材製品に形成する ことを特徴とする研磨材製品の作製方法。 10. 前記裏地を提供することは、複数の第1の部分および複数の第2の部分 が含まれるように前記部分を提供することを含み、前記第2の部分の表面積は前 記第1の部分の表面積よりも大きい請求の範囲第9項に記載の方法。 11. 前記裏地を提供することは、前記開口の軸方向の寸法が約0.5mm〜 約20mmになるよう前記開口の周囲に前記部分を配置することを含む請求の範 囲第9項に記載の方法。 19. 前記裏地を提供することは、ポリアミド、ポリオレフィン、ポリアラミ ド、ポリエステル、綿、絹、大麻、ジュート、ゴム、金属セラミックおよびこれ らの組み合わせからなる群から選択された繊維から前記裏地を編むことを含み、 前記繊維のデニールは約15〜約600の範囲である請求の範囲第16項に記載 の方法。 12. 前記裏地を延伸させることによって、前記開口の形状を矩形から六角形 に変形させることを特徴とする請求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。 13. 前記研磨材層を前記裏地に塗布することは、研磨粒子が分散した研磨材 バインダーを前記裏地の少なくとも一部に塗布することを含み、前記バインダー は、本質的に、フェノール樹脂と、ペンダントα,β-不飽和カルボニル基を有 するアミノプラスト樹脂と、ウレタン樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、エチレン系不飽和樹 脂、アクリル化イソシアヌレート樹脂、尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂、イソシアヌ レート樹脂、アクリル化ウレタン樹脂、アクリル化エポキシ樹脂、ビスマレイミ ド樹脂、フルオレン変性エポキシ樹脂およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から 選択される熱硬化性樹脂接着剤である請求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。 14. 前記研磨材粒子は、本質的に、酸化アルミニウム粒子、シリコンカーバ イド粒子、アルミナジルコニア粒子、ダイアモンド粒子、セリア粒子、立方晶窒 化ホウ素粒子、ざくろ石粒子およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され る材料を含む請求の範囲第13項に記載の方法。
