Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a variable resistor, using a relatively inexpensive facility by forming a slider out of a single resilient wire. SOLUTION: A slider 1 is secured to the bottom of a knob 2, while touching a pattern printed 3a and fired on a ceramic board 3 resiliently. When the knob 2 is turned, the slider 1 slides on the printed pattern 3a, to provide a predetermined resistance. The slider 1 is formed by bending a single resilient wire, such that the longitudinal direction thereof matches with the sliding direction.
