Wheelchair and walker complex
The present invention relates to a chair for a non-healthy person or the elderly with a physical disability who has difficulty walking.
I do.
The movement functionality of unhealthy and elderly people who have difficulty walking can be difficult if they
Can be improved by leaning on or pushing on a support device with rollers
It is well known. Such a rolling-type support device, a so-called walker, comprises a pair of
It is equipped with a hand grip (grip) and a brake device.
Provided near the handgrip to selectively apply brakes on wheels and rollers
Controlled by operating means or control means. In addition, such unhealthy persons or high
There are also transport chairs with wheels and rollers that allow elderly people to transport them while sitting on them.
In need of. In addition, unhealthy or elderly persons may not be able to transport them outdoors by third parties.
Need a wheelchair. This relates to the movement and transport of unhealthy or elderly people.
Means that three different aids are needed to meet the needs. But,
These three different aids are not only economically disadvantageous but also use transportation equipment.
When not, they require a lot of space to store.
The present invention is suitable for use by unhealthy persons or elderly persons who have difficulty walking, and
The present invention provides a chair that can be used with a higher degree of versatility than a chair of the type described in US Pat.
Therefore, the present invention provides a chair frame, a chair seat attached to the frame,
Or multiple wheels mounted on a chair frame to support the chair on the floor,
The point of contact between the wheel and the floor that forms the top of the shape
And a hand grip formed on the chair frame and held by a person pushing the chair.
Provided is a chair for unhealthy persons or elderly persons who have difficulty walking. And in the present invention
Such chairs may have at least one chair wheel and / or chair handgrip.
The wheel is detachably attached to any of the first and second positions on the child frame.
And / or when the handgrip is in the first position, by the chair user.
The downward force applied to the handgrip is applied to the ground or floor surface inside the polygon.
And when in the second position, the downward
The force intersects the ground or floor at a point outside the polygon or near a side of the polygon
It is characterized by:
A support device that can be pushed and rolled by an unhealthy person must be very stable
And this is also the case for transport chairs used indoors. This
The thing is, the downward pressure that the user puts on the hand grip without any intention,
This means that the chair or supporting device must not be tilted. Paraphrase
The downward force is inside the polygon defined by the position of the wheels or rollers.
Is most appropriate to intersect with the ground or floor.
However, for wheelchairs, this requirement is different. Car with unhealthy person or patient
The person pushing the chair should be on the side of the sidewalk, where the ground is low, steps at the doorway, etc.
Tilt the wheelchair by lifting the front wheel of the wheelchair to overcome obstacles, etc.
I have to. This point is outside the polygon defined by the wheelchair wheels, i.e.
A downward facing intersection with the ground outside one side of the polygon defined by the grounding point of the rear wheel
It means that it must be possible to apply force to the handgrip.
The chair according to the invention fulfills all these requirements completely and has at least one wheel.
Position, preferably one or more rear wheel positions and / or
Or by changing the position of the handgrip, and preferably also
By changing the diameter, the support or walking device can be moved to a wheelchair or vice versa.
The conversion can be performed.
Thus, the wheels are detachably mounted on the first and second positions, respectively.
And a second set of wheels, the diameter of the wheels of the second set being greater than that of the first set.
I'm getting smart.
The resultant force applied to the handgrip by the user or an assistant pressing the chair is
It is usually forward-facing downward. This means that the resultant force is
Even if it is outside the polygon, the polygon defined by the ground point of the wheel
Intersects the ground or floor inside. However, a car that is detachably mounted
When the wheel is in the first position, the vertical protrusion of the handgrip is defined by the wheel
Inside the polygon to be drawn and is substantially separated from the sides of the polygon.
When the wheel is in the second position, the vertical protrusion of the hand grip is
Even if it is outside the polygon, it is preferably near one side of the polygon.
The wheels of the chair according to the invention comprise two or more wheel sets of different diameters.
Sometimes the center of the removable wheel, or axis, is the small diameter wheel replaced by the large diameter wheel, or vice versa.
When replaced, the vertical distance from the ground or floor to the seat surface is substantially unchanged.
As such, it is preferably adjustable. Such adjustments, for example,
Removable wheels are attached to the frame part that can move freely with respect to the
It becomes possible by doing. This telescopically movable frame part is
Can be locked in place on the main frame using removable locking means
.
At least one of the wheels of the chair is detachably attached to any of the first and second positions.
The detachable mounting means to be mounted is, for example, a chair frame.
Including means by which the axle of the wheel (s) can be mounted in different positions of
I have. However, in a preferred embodiment, at least one of said wheels is
Movable with respect to the main frame to be located in either the first or second position
It is attached to a simple frame part. The movable frame part is a guide track,
It is displaceably mounted on the main frame portion by an appropriate method such as a link device.
However, this movable frame part is swingably attached to the main frame part
Preferably. Alternatively, as an alternative, the at least one wheel
Axle displaceably mounted along a track or path between the first and second positions
You may make it.
The wheels are at least one detachable mounted on a third position of the chair frame
A third wheel set may be further provided. For example, the first wheel set is a chair
Used as a support device or walking device that the user can push and walk,
The second wheel set is mainly for converting chairs into transport chairs for indoor use.
Used when And the third wheel set is for the unhealthy person to sit on the chair and
Used when converting to a wheelchair that can be gripped and driven.
Particularly important when the chair is used as a support or walking device
Can brake the wheels or rollers of the chair. Therefore
The chair according to the invention comprises a brake for braking at least one of the wheels of the chair.
Brake device and a brake device provided at or near the hand grip to selectively operate
And a brake actuating means for actuating. When the user wants to stop
In addition, the brake device is operated to keep the support device stationary, and the user
The brake device can be released so that it can be used as a walking device that supports the vehicle.
The handgrip of the chair according to the invention may be arranged in said first and second positions.
Can be movably mounted on the chair frame between the two. For example, hand grip
Frame part on which the pump is mounted can be rockable or tiltable between said positions
be able to. In addition, the hand grip is vertically or vertically moved between the first and second positions.
Can also be mounted for rotation about a substantially vertical axis. For example, backwards
Can be rotated substantially 180 ° between the forward and forward positions
It is.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, a chair frame and a frame mounted on the frame are provided.
A chair seat to support a person sitting forward and a chair on the ground or floor
Mounted on the chair frame to support the child, and with the rear wheel and at least one
A plurality of wheels, including a stroller, and a person pushing the chair, located behind the chair seat
