Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have no strong toxicity to the human body and to easily acquire raw material so as to enable mass production by taking parsley seed oil as active ingredient. SOLUTION: Market parsley seed oil, for example, in an amount of about 1kg is added and mixed with 100kg of ethyl alcohol, and then subdivided into aerosol type containers having the capacity of approx. 200cc to manufacture a deodorant for spray. Materials having a deodorizing action such as apiol, myristicin and the like are contained in the parsley seed oil, thereby obtaining a deodorizing effect. However, since it has strong peculiar odor, it is not desirable to use it as it is. Accordingly, the parsley seed oil is diluted by edible oil and fat, material oil, or alcohols. Otherwise, it is desirable that fresh water or an emulsifier is added to the parsley seed oil to be taken as a deodorant. At the time of use, if it is diluted into a liquid-like material or emulsified material to be aerosol-injected.

[0007] Parsley seeds are cultivated on a large scale in the United States, Canada, France, Hungary, etc. In Japan, the seeds are imported from these countries, and the seeds are processed to obtain parsley seed oil. It is commercially available. Therefore, the parsley seed oil may be used for the deodorant of the present invention.
To extract the oil from parsley seeds, a steam distillation method is generally used.

Since parsley seed oil has a strong peculiar odor, it is not preferable to use it as a deodorant as it is. Therefore, parsley seed oil may be diluted with edible oils, mineral oils, alcohols, etc., or parsley seed oil may be used. The deodorant of the present invention is preferably obtained by adding clear water or an emulsifier to the mixture and emulsifying (so-called emulsification dilution). In this case, the blending amount of parsley seed oil with respect to the total amount of the deodorant is preferably 0.5 to 50%. If it is less than 0.5%, the deodorizing effect of malodor will be weak as shown in the test examples below, while if it exceeds 50%, the characteristic odor of parsley seed oil will be too strong, giving discomfort when handling. So
It is not suitable as a deodorant.

In order to use the deodorant of the present invention for removing malodors such as urine and feces, the liquid or emulsion thus diluted is packed in a container so that it can be sprayed in an aerosol type at the time of use. Then it is convenient. Further, in order to use the deodorant of the present invention as a bad breath preventing agent, one obtained by diluting parsley seed oil with an edible diluent may be used. Edible diluents include soybean oil,

Further, when the deodorant of the present invention is used for deodorizing, for example, the malodor of defecation, parsley seed oil may be encapsulated as it is or diluted with a blended oil, and the capsule may be drunk. Good. As the blended oil, animal oils such as soybean oil, rapeseed oil and sunflower oil, and animal oils such as lard and fish oil may be used. The deodorant of the present invention is not limited to liquid or emulsified ones. For example, parsley seed oil is added with starch or dextrin to form a powder, which is packed in a breathable bag (refrigerator). Deodorant for parsley) or solidified by adding wax etc. to parsley seed oil (indoor deodorant), and solidified by adding surfactant etc. to parsley seed oil (deodorant for water) (Odorant) and the like. With such a form, the deodorant component in the deodorant gradually dissolves into the air or water from the deodorant, and a deodorant effect is obtained.

Shake for 5 minutes. The ammonia concentration in the head space was measured with a gas detector tube. As a result, while the parsley seed oil-free product was 500 ppm, the additive product was 2 ppm.
At 50 ppm, the effect of removing ammonia was observed.
