Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain seals which have an excellent three-dimensional feel and iteratively usable as replacements for thumbtacks, bookmarks, stamps, etc., exclusive of ornaments by joining displays of patterns, etc., formed by molding soft thermoplastic resins in relief to the surfaces of seal substrates having flexibility, thereby forming tacky adhesive layers on the rear surfaces of the seal substrates. SOLUTION: The displays 2 consisting of the patterns, characters, symbols or their respective bonds or the bonds to colors formed by molding the soft thermoplastic resins in relief are joined by a high-frequency heating machine to the surfaces of the seal substrates 1 which are thermally adherable or thermally meltable with the displays 2 (the sheets thermally adherable therewith are, for example, thermosetting resin sheets, polyurethane sheets, etc., and the sheets thermally fusible therewith are thermoplastic resins) and have flexibility. Repeelable and restickable tacky adhesive layers 3 are formed on the rear surfaces of the seal substrates 1. The surfaces having these tacky adhesive layers 3 are peelably adhered onto backing paper 4 consisting of release finished paper, synthetic resin films or sheets. The seal substrates 1 are fusion cut or cut slightly larger nearly along the contours of the displays 2.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION A seal which can be used repeatedly according to the present invention has a display member formed by embossing a soft thermoplastic resin into a flexible shape which can be thermally bonded or welded to the display member. An adhesive layer which is bonded to a front surface of the seal substrate and has a re-peelable and re-stickable surface is formed on a back surface of the seal substrate. Here, the term “display body” has a meaning including a pattern, a character, a symbol, or a combination thereof, or a combination of these with a color (hereinafter, the same in the present specification). In addition, the above-mentioned thermal bonding refers to a case where only a soft thermoplastic resin is melted by heat and adheres to the surface of a seal substrate, and the thermal bonding refers to a case where both the soft thermoplastic resin and the surface of the seal substrate are heated. Melting and fusing. A soft polyvinyl chloride may be used as the thermoplastic resin of the display body, and a heat-sealable thermoplastic resin having the same flexibility as that of the display body may be used as the seal substrate. Alternatively, a flexible polyethylene terephthalate sheet that can be thermally bonded may be used. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer uses a polyurethane pressure-sensitive adhesive.

The display body formed in relief by the thermoplastic resin can be floated on the surface of the seal substrate to give a three-dimensional appearance, and an interesting one can be obtained. The embossed display body can be used for a stamp by applying stamp ink thereto. In addition, since the display body is soft and the seal substrate (polyethylene terephthalate) is flexible, the seal substrate can be easily removed and re-attached by grasping the seal substrate. Since the display body is easily deformed, it is possible to prevent the display body from peeling off from the seal substrate.

In FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a seal which can be used repeatedly is a display body 2 comprising a pattern, a letter or a symbol or a combination thereof or a combination of these with a color formed by embossing a soft thermoplastic resin. Can be thermally bonded or thermally welded to the display 2 (for example, a thermosetting resin sheet, a polyurethane sheet, a synthetic leather sheet, or an artificial leather sheet). (Resin) Bonded to the front surface of a flexible seal substrate 1 with a high-frequency heater, and formed on the back surface of the seal substrate 1 with an adhesive layer 3 that can be re-peeled and re-attached. Is releasably adhered onto a backing paper 4 made of release-processed paper or a synthetic resin film or sheet. The seal substrate 1 is blown or cut substantially along the contour of the display body 2 and slightly larger than that. As the soft thermoplastic resin of the display 2, soft polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, or the like is preferable for high-frequency bonding because of a large dielectric loss. As the thermosetting resin of the flexible seal substrate 1, a polyethylene terephthalate sheet having excellent heat resistance is preferable.

Next, the display body 2 and the seal substrate 1 which are joined and integrated are taken out from the lower mold 6 and the pressing mold 7, and an adhesive layer 3 which can be peeled off and re-attached is formed on the back surface of the seal substrate 1. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 is made of a polyurethane pressure-sensitive pressure-sensitive adhesive, which is produced by a reaction between a polyol and an organic diisocyanate. More specifically, a prepolymer having a terminal isocyanate group obtained by reacting one or more polyol mixtures having an average number of functional groups of 2 to 2.6 with an excess of organic diisocyanate is used. And one or more polyol mixtures whose sum with the average number of functional groups of the polyol mixture as a component of the prepolymer exceeds 4 and is not greater than 5 have an NCO / OH equivalent ratio of 0.65 to 1.
The polyurethane obtained by reacting at 15 is preferred.

In the above manufacturing method, after the display body 2 is bonded to the surface of the seal substrate 1, the adhesive layer 3 is formed on the back surface of the seal substrate 1.
However, the present invention is not limited to this. By using a flexible seal substrate 1 having an adhesive layer 3 that can be re-peeled and re-adhered on the back surface, the soft heat The display 2 made of a plastic resin may be joined by a high-frequency heater. In this case, it is necessary to heat-bond or heat-bond the adhesive layer 3 of the seal substrate 1 in a short time so as not to adversely affect the adhesive strength of the adhesive layer 3 without heating. According to the experiment, if the heat bonding or heat welding is performed in a short time of 30 seconds to 1 minute using a high frequency heating machine (high frequency welding machine) having an output of 20 KW and a flowing current of 1.5 A, the adhesion of the adhesive layer 3 is reduced. It turns out that there is no practical problem with the force.
