Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag holder for liquid separation, by which a bag having flexibility is prevented from being deformed by centrifugal force, and blood with high purity can be recovered without disturbing the constituent parts of the separated blood layer. SOLUTION: A bag holder 1 is used at the time of storing a bag having flexibility where a liquid is stored in a centrifugal cup 2 to conduct centrifugation for the liquid. In this case, the liquid separation bag holder 1 is formed by two hard plates 11 which can be inserted and removed in and from the centrifugal cup 2, and two hard plates 11 have each one end hinged in such a manner as to be freely opened and closed, whereby after a bag which stores a liquid is inserted between two hard plates 11 and centrifugation is conducted, the bag together with the liquid separation bag holder 1 can be removed from the centrifugal cup 2 and installed intact in a separation stand 4.

2. Description of the Related Art Blood collected from a patient is centrifuged, separated into blood component layers, and stored and used for each component. For example, during blood transfusion, in order to reduce the side effects of the patient's physical burden and immunity, component blood transfusion that administers the blood components required by the patient according to the purpose from conventional whole blood transfusion may be performed. It has become. In addition, centrifugation is also performed when preserving umbilical cord blood collected from the umbilical cord of a fetus, so that blood components containing a large amount of stem cells and progenitor cells are separated and collected and stored. In order to extract and formulate various blood components contained in blood as described above, it is necessary to efficiently collect the centrifuged blood components.

In general, to perform centrifugation, blood is collected in a blood bag, the blood bag is inserted into a centrifugal cup, and the centrifugal cup is loaded into a bucket and centrifuged. However, in the method in which the blood bag is simply placed in the centrifugal cup, the blood bag made of a soft plastic material is compressed in the bottom direction by centrifugal force, causing wrinkles in the blood bag, and other components remain on the wrinkles. As a result, when the blood bag was taken out, the shrunken blood bag returned to its original state, and the layers separated for each blood component were disturbed. To solve this problem, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open
Japanese Patent Publication No. 265741 discloses a liquid separating cup having a plurality of storage portions. This is a liquid separating cup provided with a plurality of storage portions into which a blood bag is inserted, and is formed of a soft plastic or the like even when a centrifugal force is applied by adjusting the internal shape to the shape of the blood bag. This has the effect of not significantly deforming the bag.

In order to transfer each blood component of the centrifuged blood bag to the separation bag,
A blood bag is installed on a separation stand 4 as shown in FIG. 3, and the blood bag is pressurized by a pressing plate 41 to separate each component layer into the separation bag. However, as described above, centrifugation is performed using the auxiliary cup for liquid separation, and even when the blood bag is separated into each component layer, the blood bag is flexible when the blood bag is taken out of the liquid separation cup and moved to the separation stand. For this reason, vibrations were applied, and the separation interface separated into each component layer was disturbed, so that the recovery rate was deteriorated, and the purity of the separated component was lowered, and it was necessary to perform centrifugation again. The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and is capable of preventing blood bags from being deformed by centrifugal force, and furthermore, capable of recovering high-purity blood without disturbing the separated blood component layer. It is an object to provide a bag holder for use.

As shown in FIG. 1, the liquid separating bag holder 1 is composed of two hard plates 11, one end of which is hinged by a hinge. After the liquid separation bag holder 1 is inserted into the centrifugal cup 2 and fixed, the blood bag 3 is accommodated between the hard plates 11 of the liquid separation bag holder 1 and at least one separation bag 31 is removed. It is set in the space 21 of the centrifugal cup 2. After the centrifugal cup 2 is mounted on a centrifugal bucket (both not shown) of the centrifugal separator and subjected to centrifugation, the blood bag 3 is taken out together with the liquid separation bag holder 1 as shown in FIG. Then, as shown in FIG. 3, the liquid separating bag holder 1 with the blood bag 3 interposed is moved to the separation stand 4, sandwiched between the pressing plates 41 of the separation stand 4, the lever 42 is removed from the snap 43, and the pressing plate is removed. The blood bag 3 is pressed by 41 and blood components are pushed out from the upper layer to the separation bag 31.

The bag holder 1 for liquid separation is composed of at least two hard plates 11. The hard plate 11 is hinged at one end thereof by using a hinge or the like or by providing a thin portion so as to be freely opened and closed. The hard plate 11 is preferably made of a material having durability enough to withstand the centrifugal force during centrifugation and having transparency so that the separation interface can be confirmed. For example,
Rigid polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene,
Polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate (PMM
Acrylic resins such as A) and glass. Further, the thickness of the hard plate 11 is desirably a thickness that does not hinder the sandwiching and pressing between the pressing plates 41 of the separation stand 4, and the shape thereof is adjusted to the shape of the inner wall of the centrifugal cup 2. 2 to be fixed in the shape.

According to the present invention, when the flexible blood bag is subjected to centrifugal separation, the liquid separating bag holder of the present invention is used to prevent the blood bag from being deformed by centrifugal force and to maintain a good separation state. It is possible to keep it as it is. Since the blood bag can be set on the separation stand and transferred to the separation bag while being held in the liquid separation bag holder, highly pure blood can be collected without disturbing the blood component layer.
