TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a mite control agent containing farnesylacetone as an active ingredient and a molded article provided with mite control properties by the mite control agent. Indoor ticks cause allergic diseases such as bites, rhinitis, bronchial asthma, and atopic dermatitis. The increase in indoor mites is largely due to the change in the living environment in Japan, and it is thought that the increase in the environment suitable for mites, such as the spread of highly airtight houses and the increase in textiles due to the westernization of the interior, is increasing the damage. Therefore, these measures are strongly required.

2. Description of the Related Art As compounds having an acaricidal action, organophosphorus, pyrethroid or carbamate compounds are known. However, for the purpose of controlling ticks, when living materials that are in daily contact with the human body such as tatami, bedding, carpets, and futon, which are the habitat of the ticks, are tick-proofed, safety to the human body is the highest priority. Therefore, in general, a mitic repellent whose physiological action is alleviated more than acaricide is often used (Journal of the Textile Machinery Society, Vol. 46, 241-24).

It has been proposed to use a terpene compound as a plant component as a highly safe mite control agent (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 63-104905 and Kyoto Prefectural Public Research Institute Annual Report, Vol. 35, pp. 95-100). (1990).
These terpene compounds often exert an acaricidal effect when applied in a large amount, but many of them exert a tick repellent effect as a main mechanism in an amount actually applied to living materials. However, when a terpene compound is allowed to act for a long time in an amount that exhibits the above-described repellent action, ticks often acquire resistance to these drugs, and the effect is that the action does not last for a long time. It has become.

Means for Solving the Problems The present inventors have conducted intensive studies for the development of a new mite control agent which solves the above problems, and as a result, linalool, nerol, citral, and citronellol induce induction of mite resistance. While confirming that the repellent effect is short-lived, farnesylacetone belonging to the terpene compound is unexpectedly harder to develop tick resistance while having higher mite repellent activity than these drugs. It has been found that the present invention has the characteristic activity of the present invention.

When the mite control agent of the present invention is mixed with a thermoplastic resin to form a fiber, farnesylacetone is mixed with a polyolefin resin having a relatively low melting point in order to maintain the mite control effect for a longer period of time. As a core portion, and a core-sheath type conjugate fiber in which the core portion is covered with another thermoplastic resin may be used. Further, instead of directly blending farnesylacetone with the resin, it is also possible to pre-load farnesylacetone on a porous carrier such as silica and then blend it with the resin. In this case, it is expected that the sustained release effect will be enhanced.

Test Methods When evaluating the mite repellent performance, the Osaka Prefectural Public Health Research Institute method and the intrusion prevention method are used as general evaluation methods, and these methods require a test time of 24 to 48 hours. Because of the limited nature, overlooking the phenomenon of mite resistance to drugs, it is difficult to say that it reflects the performance of the mite control product in the actual living environment, the present inventors,
Based on these test methods, the test period is extended to 3 days or more, and the presence or absence of mite resistance is confirmed by examining the change in the repellency of the mites during the test period with time under a stereoscopic microscope. An improved test method was developed. The method of the mite repellency test developed by the present inventors is as follows.

The test group or the control group, respectively. Further, the petri dishes of the test group and the control group are fixed in combination as shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. In method A, 5,000 test mites together with a breeding medium were placed in a 9 cm-diameter petri dish with a test or control section fixed in the center in a 4 cm-diameter empty petri dish surrounded by a test or control section. Or release 10,000 heads. Next, in order to keep the humidity suitable for the life of the mites, the whole is placed in a container filled with a saturated saline solution, and placed in a thermostat kept at 25 ° C. for 3 days or more. The test container is taken out several times during the test period, and the number of mites that have invaded the fresh medium in the test group and the control group is counted under a stereoscopic microscope each time, and the repellency is determined by the following formula. Repellent rate (%) = (1−mite infestation number in test plot / mite infestation count in control plot) × 100 Changes in repellent rate over time during the test period are tracked for the same test container, thereby mitigating mites. And the presence or absence of mite resistance to the mite repellent component.

Examples 4 to 6 Farnesyl acetone was blended with polyethylene terephthalate pellets at a blending amount of 10% by weight, and kneaded with a single screw extruder at a temperature of 270 ° C. to obtain a master chip. This master chip was added to a drug-free polyethylene terephthalate at various ratios, diluted, supplied to a spinning apparatus, and discharged at a rate of 450 g / min and a winding speed of 900 g.
Per minute at a spinning temperature of 295 ° C. to obtain fibers containing farnesyl acetone at the contents of Examples 4 to 6 shown in Table 3. These fibers were stretched, crimped, and heat-treated in a known manner to obtain raw short fibers having a denier of 6d and a cut length of 51 mm. The repellent effect on Dermatophagoides farinae was evaluated by a modified test method B, using raw cotton formed into a sheet-like cotton having a web of 50 g / sq.m with a card as a sample in a test plot, and using pure polyethylene terephthalate fiber as a control plot.
Table 3 shows the test results.

DISCUSSION As can be seen from the test results shown in Table 1, in Comparative Examples 1 to 6, all compounds show high repellent activity against Dermatophagoides farinae for one day from the start of the test, but repel from day 7 to day 14 A significant decrease in the rate was observed, indicating that the mites had acquired resistance to the test compound. By comparison,
Farnesyl acetone stably maintained high repellent activity during the 14-day test period. Further, from the test results shown in Table 2, it was confirmed that farnesylacetone also has a persistent and high repellent effect on Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and Dermatophagoides farinae, which are typical mite species that live in rooms other than Dermatophagoides farinae. Furthermore, from the results shown in Table 3,
It was confirmed that even when farnesyl acetone was contained in the polyethylene terephthalate fiber, a sustained and high mite repellent effect was exhibited.
