Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an agrochemical composition capable of efficiently floating on a water surface and extending thereon and manifesting high controlling activities and low persistence in a soil by mixing a specific agrochemical active ingredient, a hollow organic powder, a solid carrier and an adjuvant, and forming the mixed components. SOLUTION: The objective composition of 100 pts.wt. in a granular or a tablet form is obtained by mixing (A) 0.01-80 pts.wt. agrochemical active ingredient of solid at a normal temperature [e.g. α,α,α-trifluoro-3'-isopropoxy-o- trianilide (generally called as flutolanil)], (B) 0.0001-30 pts.wt. hollow organic powder (e.g. hollow plastic resin powder) of a water-insoluble or slightly soluble resin, having preferably >=40 deg.C melting temperature, <1.0 specific gravity and <=2 mm average particle diameter, regulated so that the formulating ratio of the components A to B may be (1:1) to (100:1), (C) a solid carrier (e.g. potassium chloride) and (D) 0.1-15 pts.wt. adjuvant such as a surfactant, a binder, a disintegrator and a spreader, and forming the mixed components into a granular or a tablet form by a wet granulation or a compression molding.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a water-applied pesticide composition obtained by uniformly mixing and molding a pesticidal active ingredient, a hollow organic powder, a solid carrier and an auxiliary agent which are solid at ordinary temperature, and a method for producing the same. More specifically, when the pesticide formulation is applied to a paddy field, the powdery pesticidal active ingredient efficiently floats and spreads on the water surface together with a floating base so that a high control effect and a low soil persistence can be exhibited. The present invention relates to a prepared water-applied agricultural chemical composition and a method for producing the same.

However, these methods aim at effective utilization of the pesticide active ingredient by promoting diffusion and elution of the pesticide active ingredient into water or reducing soil adsorption.
It is inadequate in practical use and requires complicated operations in manufacturing. In other words, the method has a sufficient oil absorption capacity, but has the disadvantage that the granules themselves are lightened, so they are easily affected by wind and the like at the time of spraying, and the granules floating on the water surface after spraying are blown to one side by the wind is there. Also, the solid active ingredient must be dissolved in a suitable solvent and impregnated into the particulate base. Is a method in which the active ingredient is suspended on the water surface together with the wax-like substance to make it work effectively. However, the method is limited to a solid active ingredient having an affinity for the wax-like substance, and there are restrictions on production. In the method (1), the liquid active ingredient is floated on the water surface by using a water-soluble carrier and a film-forming substance. However, the amount of the liquid active ingredient carried is small, and there is a limit on the active ingredient that can be used.

The methods of (1) and (2) disclose higher alcohols, fatty acid esters, and higher boiling solvents having a specific gravity of 1 or less.
Although silicone oils and mineral oils are used, the dissolving power of these solvents is poor, and the active ingredients that can be dissolved are limited. Is an excellent method in which the powdery pesticidal active ingredient floats on the surface of the water together with the solid wax-like substance powder and spreads. However, the solid wax-like substance causes the fusion of the powder in the process of forming the formulation, so the difficulty is high. Need high temperature management,
Similarly, under harsh storage conditions, solid waxes also fuse. It is extremely desirable to make the pesticide active ingredient float and diffuse on the water surface to make it work effectively, but it is extremely desirable as a feature to be imparted to the pesticide composition applied to the water surface. However, in the conventional technology, the physical properties and amount of the active ingredient that can be used are limited. There is
There are problems such as the necessity of a step of dissolving in a solvent and the necessity of advanced control of the production process.

Means for Solving the Problems The inventors of the present invention have conducted intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, and as a result, have obtained excellent effects which cannot be expected from conventional known techniques, and which can be obtained by a simple manufacturing method. An agrochemical composition and a method for producing the same have been found. The present invention relates to a pesticidal composition which is solid at room temperature, a hollow organic powder, a solid carrier and an auxiliary agent, which are uniformly mixed, wet-granulated or compression-molded, and which is applied to a water-based pesticide composition. It does not require steps such as impregnation of components or their compatibility, and can be produced by only mixing and molding steps and by easy step management. Furthermore, by using the hollow organic powder, a large amount of voids can be easily formed in the pesticide composition applied to the surface of the water, and the voids ensure high floating properties, and the active components of the pesticide can effectively float and spread on the surface of the water. An object of the present invention is to provide a water-applied agricultural chemical composition and a method for producing the same.

The pesticidal composition for water application according to the present invention is prepared by uniformly mixing a pesticidal active ingredient which is solid at room temperature, a hollow organic powder, a solid carrier and an auxiliary, and extruding granulation, tumbling granulation, and dry compression. It can be easily manufactured by a conventional method such as a molding method,
At this time, the composition in which the pesticidal active ingredient floats efficiently on the water surface can be obtained by simply mixing the hollow organic powder with another composition without special treatment. The pesticidal composition of the present invention allows pesticidal active ingredients to float on water very effectively.
Can be expanded. Therefore, by applying to a paddy field, it is possible to exhibit an immediate effect and a sustained effect due to adhesion to a rice leaf sheath portion.
g, preferably 5-250 g. In addition, although the method of application to paddy fields can be of course applied uniformly over the entire surface, topical application of 10 to 200 g is an advantageous application method of the agricultural chemical composition of the present invention.

The physical properties (water surface floatability) of the water surface application composition of the present invention will be described with reference to the following test examples. That is, when the composition for water application according to the present invention is applied to the surface of water, the active ingredient floats on the water surface quickly. [Test Example 1] Water surface buoyancy test In a 100 cm x 100 cm x 10 cm stainless steel container, water was poured to a depth of 5 cm and allowed to stand, and the samples of Examples 1 to 6 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 were placed in a container. Treat gently in the center, and 1 hour after treatment, place glass fiber filter paper (diameter: 47
mm) was floated gently and collected when the filter paper was completely soaked. After the filter paper was transferred to a test tube and extracted with a solvent, the amount of each compound attached to the filter paper was analyzed. The floating rate was determined by assuming that the amount of the compound per filter paper area when the total amount of the compound was floated and spread uniformly was 100. Table 2 shows the results.

Test Example 2 The preparations of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 were treated at a predetermined dose on the water surface of a pot in which rice was grown at the 8 to 12 leaf stage, and after 6 hours, One and two weeks later, the sclerotium of Rhizoctonia solani was spread on the water surface and inoculated. After inoculation, the cells were cultured at 25 ° C / 100% humidity for 24 hours and then placed at 25 ° C / 95% humidity. One week after the inoculation, the maximum lesion height was investigated, and the control value was calculated by the following formula in comparison with the untreated plot.
