Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needling implement for an endoscope which can smoothly project a needle therefrom without the tip end of the needle abuts against a front end plug attached to the distal end of a flexible sheath. SOLUTION: In a needling unit for an endoscope, a front end plug 3 through which a guide hole 2 for allowing a needle 1 to pass therethrough is extended, is inserted in the distal end of a flexible sheath 4 in front of the latter so as to be attached to the latter, and the needle 1 located in the sheath 1 is extended and retracted from and into the front end plug 3 through remote-control by the hands. In this arrangement, the needle 1 is inclined in the flexible sheath 4 so that the tip end 1a of the needle 1 having a shape which is obliquely ground, is located in the vicinity of the center axis of the sheath 4.

[0003] The puncture needle 91 is connected to the distal end of an insertion member 95 (a tube or a wire or the like) inserted through the entire length of the flexible sheath 94 and pushes and pulls the insertion member 95 at the hand side. By doing so, the distal end puncture needle 91 is operated to advance and retreat in the axial direction.

A connecting member 96 connects the puncture needle 91 and the insertion member 95.
During the operation of projecting the puncture needle 93, the puncture needle 91 comes into contact with the rear end of the tip base 93, and functions as a stopper for preventing the puncture needle 91 from projecting beyond a certain length. Therefore, the tip cap 93 is also necessary for its stopper function.

The flexible sheath 4 is formed of, for example, a tube made of a fluorine resin which has been subjected to a heat treatment. The distal end cap 3 is made of metal or plastic, and has a spiral groove formed on an outer peripheral surface of a portion to be inserted into the flexible sheath 4, and is tightly engaged with an inner peripheral surface of the distal end portion of the flexible sheath 4. I agree.

The rear end portion 3a of the outer peripheral surface of the front end cap 3 is formed in a smooth tapered shape that gradually becomes thinner toward the end (rearward). As a result, the flexible sheath 4 has a smooth shape change from the part where the tip base 3 is inserted to the part where the tip base 3 is not inserted. Eccentricity is suppressed.

Therefore, when the operation wire 5 is pushed in from the hand side, the injection needle 1 moves in the flexible sheath 4 to the distal end side, and the tip 1a of the injection needle 1 is guided without hitting the rear end surface of the distal end base 3. Go into hole 2. The fact that the rear end portion 2a of the guide hole 2 is tapered wide also contributes to this.

According to the present invention, when the puncture needle is inclined in the sheath so that the tip is located near the axis of the flexible sheath, the puncture needle can be projected from the sheath. In addition, the tip of the puncture needle can enter the guide hole without hitting the rear end face of the tip base, and the puncture needle can be smoothly projected. Forming the rear end portion of the guide hole in a tapered shape gradually expanding rearward and forming the rear end portion of the outer peripheral surface of the tip end die in a tapered shape gradually narrowing rearward further contributes to this.
