Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a vehicle passing direction and to manage the entrance/exit of a vehicle by a free gate vehicle recognizing method without being influenced by forgery, alteration, pollusion, etc., by arranging a coil antenna for an ID reader based on electromagnetic coupling on a floor. SOLUTION: When a vehicle A to which a tag 5 is fitted moves from the right side to the surface of a metal detection sensor 2 using a loop coil, the sensor 2 detects the vehicle A as a vehicle. When the vehicle A reaches the surface of a coil antenna part 1, energy is provided to the tag 5 by electromagnetic waves always radiated from an oscillation coil 17. The tag 5 receiving energy transmits its own inherent ID signal. The signal, is catched by the antenna part 1 and the vehicle is specified and recognized. When the vehicle A moves to the surface of a metal detection sensor 3 using a loop coil, the passing direction of the vehicle A can be discriminated from the detection order of the sensor 2 and the antenna part 1.

2. Description of the Related Art As a conventional vehicle discriminating apparatus, a passage and a traveling direction of a vehicle are discriminated by using sensors such as electromagnetic waves, infrared rays and ultrasonic waves, treads, and the like, and a magnetic entry and exit time is recorded. There is a method of opening and closing a gate by performing a fee process using a card or a tag instead of the card. Examples of a vehicle recognition device include a visual recognition device that directly reads a vehicle number and the like, an ID card, a transmitter, and a guided radio wave emitted from a gate side that the user carries separately. There is a method of opening and closing a gate only when a unique signal is extracted from a wireless device or the like mounted on a vehicle by a signal such as electromagnetic coupling or infrared rays or ultrasonic waves, and is encoded into a registered signal.

Among the devices described in the prior art, a vehicle discriminating device using the former various sensors and the like can discriminate the presence / absence of a vehicle and the traveling direction. Since it is not possible, every time the card is used, it is necessary to process a charge using a card or the like that records the entrance / exit time and to open and close the gate. The latter visual recognition device that reads the vehicle number etc. directly causes false reading due to forgery or falsification of the part to be read, the presence of a shield, etc.The method of extracting a unique signal from a wireless device mounted on the vehicle, etc. Since it does not have a function to detect the vehicle itself, it is necessary to have a gate that opens only when the vehicle is identified and confirmed. In any case, it is necessary to install a gate. Sensors and operations for opening the gate (granting and receiving parking tickets, payment of parking fees, etc.) and contact with gate bars and chain gates caused by poor vehicle detection are inevitable. is there. As a result, not only hassle but also direct access to illegal entry / exit, illegal parking, etc., and in many cases, the arrangement of a manager is forced. Naturally, it is easy to conceive a method of installing a metal sensor using a loop coil before and after the coil antenna portion of the ID reader by electromagnetic coupling and detecting a metal body passing thereover. This is a method of detecting a sudden change in magnetic flux, and a magnetic flux change is generated by an amplitude or pulse-modulated electromagnetic wave emitted from a coil antenna unit (essential for obtaining a write signal of a passing time / synchronizing transmission and reception with a tag). Therefore, if the vehicle cannot be installed close to each other and the distance is long, there is a problem that a passing vehicle cannot be specified.

[0004] The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to treat a vehicle as a metal body, determine the passing direction of the vehicle, determine the forgery, falsification, and contamination. The purpose of the present invention is to manage entry / exit by a vehicle recognition method that is not affected by the like and to provide a vehicle identification device using a free gate.

[0006] In order to clarify the direction range of tag detection, the coil antenna to be installed is preferably installed so that the upper direction of the coil antenna has the strongest electric field strength, and is divided into an oscillation coil and a reception coil. In order to prevent interference or influence on the metal detection sensor, radio pacemaker, etc., due to the installed loop coil, it emits a high frequency that always maintains a constant frequency without amplitude pulse modulation.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Embodiments of the present invention will be described based on embodiments with reference to the drawings. In FIG. 1, metal detection sensors 2 and 3 using loop coils are provided before and after a coil antenna unit 1 of an ID reader by electromagnetic coupling to detect a passing direction of a metal body 4 which is an automobile A coming and going thereover. The data of the tag 5 attached to the metal body 4 is read by the coil antenna 1.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, when the vehicle A with the tag 5 moves from the right side onto the metal detection sensor 2 using the loop coil, the sensor detects the vehicle as a vehicle. Next, when the tag 5 comes over the coil antenna 1, energy is given to the tag 5 by an electromagnetic wave constantly emitted from the coil. The tag 5 that has obtained the energy transmits its own unique ID signal. This signal is captured by the coil antenna 1 to identify the vehicle. Further, when moving over the metal detection sensor 3 by the loop coil, the passing direction is determined from the detection order of the metal detection sensor 2 and the coil antenna 1 by the loop coil.

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, the vehicle to be identified and the vehicle to be discriminated in the passing direction coincide with each other, and the passing direction is centered on the coil antenna 1 so as not to be confused with the vehicle A 'which is waiting in the following direction. It is preferable to lay the metal detection sensors 2 and 3 using loop coils within about 4 m before and after.
