Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a no-sealing cap required push-button type writing utensil, in which neither back-flowing phenomenon of ink nor direct flowing phenomenon of ink develops even when lowly viscous ink is charged and the drought resistance of the writing tip part is maintained. SOLUTION: In a push-button type writing utensil, in which the refill of a ball point pen is installed, a clip 21a, at the spherical projection of the tip of which an engaging surface 21b is formed, is provided at the rear of a shaft tube. On the other hand, a rotary cam mechanism part has a push-button rod 25, which moves forwards and backwards by means of a push-button operation, and a cam slope formed on the push-button rod and cam slopes formed at two axially projecting parts provided on the inner surface of the shaft tube. Further, a rotator 22 equipped with projected engaging parts 22b ahead the cam slopes composes the rotary cam mechanism together with the above-mentioned rod and cam slope. Through the advancement of the push-button rod accompanied by the push-button operation, the rotator pivots by the pressing action between the am slopes so as to engage of disengage an engaging part formed at the spherical projection of a clip with or from an engaging part provided on the rotator, resulting in extendably and retractaly engaging the writing tip part of the refill of a ballpoint pen through the tip port of the shaft tube. At the same time, when the spherical projection of the clip is displaced to the direction so as to part from the side face of the shaft tube, the engagement is released, resulting in allowing to retract the writing tip part from the tip port.

2. Description of the Related Art A low-viscosity ink such as an aqueous ballpoint pen has a low viscosity of several mPa · S or less, and therefore has an advantage that it can be written with a light writing pressure and has a good writing quality. However, there is a drawback that a DC phenomenon in which the ink flows slowly from the pen tip, and a reverse flow phenomenon in which the air flows in from the tip of the ballpoint pen and the ink flows out, are likely to occur. A method of preventing these phenomena by using a fiber convergence body (ink occluding body) called batting has been adopted. Further, there is known an ink storage device provided with an ink storage body for temporarily storing ink. Even with this ink reservoir, if the writing tip is not sealed, there is a problem that, over a long period of time, drying due to evaporation of the ink will result in short writing and short writing life.

[0003] The conventional knock-type ballpoint pen has a structure in which the writing body is protruded from the tip of the shaft to perform writing. Therefore, when the writing body is forgotten to be stored in a pocket, the writing portion protrudes off-axis. And soiled clothing with ink. In order to solve this problem, a device has been proposed in which a writing tool is always stored when a writing implement is inserted into a pocket by locking the clip with a locking portion provided on a shaft or a locking portion provided inside the shaft. As a mechanism, when the writing part of the cursive body is pushed out by pushing the knock bar at the rear end of the shaft from the front end of the shaft, the lock is released by pushing the rear end side of the clip when storing the cursive body. Generally, the one that stores cursive letters is generally adopted. In this case, however, the operability is not good because the operating unit is different between the case where the cursive letter is protruded and the case where it is stored, and the direct liquid type When the cursive is installed, the impact on the cursive at the time of release may cause the ink inside the cursive to shift, leak out, or cause the writing curl due to entraining air from the cursive tip. Because of this, there is a drawback that a mechanism for buffering the impact on the cursive is required.

In order for 2b to engage with the locking surface 21b of the clip ball portion, it must be able to pass without interfering with the lower end surface of the side wall surface 21g of the clip ball portion. For this purpose, the distance R over which the cam slope 22a of the rotor 22 moves is set to be large,
The inclination angle θ of the cam slope 20a of the rear shaft 20 may be set to an obtuse angle. However, in the former method, the knock stroke becomes large, so that the operability is deteriorated. There is a possibility that the cam 20 stops on the cam slope 20a, so that the operation is not reliable. In order to solve this problem, the height may be set so that the locking portion 22b of the rotor 22 can pass through the lower end surface of the side wall surface 21g of the clip ball portion without interference. However, the other side wall surface 2
If the lower end surface of 1h is the same height as the lower end surface of the side wall surface 21g, the reliability of engagement is lost, so the lower end surface of the side wall surface 21h is large as long as it does not interfere with the outer diameter of the cylinder of the rotor 22. It is desirable to do. Further, the end face of the locking face 21b of the clip ball portion is formed by the lower end face of the side wall face 21g and the side face 21h.
By making the lower end face a slope or a curved surface that connects smoothly, the clip can be smoothly inserted and pulled out of clothes without being caught.

When the writing portion is pressed from the state where the writing portion protrudes from the front shaft 23, the knock bar 25 is pressed, and the cam slope 25a at the front end of the knock bar 25 and the cam slope 22c of the rotor 22 are engaged with each other, so that the locking surface 21b of the clip ball portion is engaged. And the locking part 2 of the rotor 22
The engagement with 2b is released. Here, when the pressing on the knock bar 25 is stopped, the cam slope 22a of the rotor 22 is retracted while rotating along the cam slope 20a of the rear shaft 20, and the writing tip is stored in the tip end of the front shaft 23. At this time, the rotor 22 is set at the same position as the initial state. That is, when the knock bar 25 is pressed again, the projecting operation is possible. Further, the projecting state can be released by pushing the ball portion of the clip 21a upward without pressing the knock bar 25, by the locking portion 22 of the rotor 22.
b is disengaged from the locking surface 21b of the clip ball portion, and the tip of the writing tip is the same as when the knock bar 25 is pressed.
3 is housed in the tip opening. For this reason, if it is attempted to insert the writing tip into the pocket with the writing tip protruding, it is possible to prevent accidents such as the writing tip being automatically stored and soiling the clothes. Knock rods, rotors, and cam slopes formed on the inner surface of the rear shaft required for these operations can be appropriately selected in shape, angle, and number of cams.

FIGS. 15 and 16 show another embodiment of the chip. As shown in the figure, the tip 30 is caulked so that the channel member 32 into which ink can flow is fixed, and the tip ball 31 is rotatably held with the tip ball 31 substantially abutting on its seat. . (Ball Holder 30a) To describe the channel member 32 in detail, the ball member 32a, which is in contact with the channel member 32 fixed to the rear surface of the tip ball 31 by the tip 30 when pen pressure is applied, is applied. And spring seats 32b for pressing the back surface of the tip ball 31 so that the tip ball 31 and the inner edge of the ball holding portion 30a come into close contact with each other, are arranged alternately in a radial pattern, and the ball receiving seat 32a and the spring seat 32b are provided. An ink inflow groove 32c that allows ink to be supplied to the tip ball 31 from the rear end of the chip 30 is formed between the ink inflow groove 32c and the tip 30. The tip 30 used for the refill of the ballpoint pen is assumed to be made of metal, and the channel member 32 is assumed to be made of resin or metal.

First, an embodiment of a ballpoint pen refill will be described. Refill 1 of ballpoint pen is spring seat 1
When the tip 7b is pressed, the tip ball 13 becomes the ball holding portion 1 of the chip.
Since it is close to the inner edge of 1a, direct current of the ink and drying of the writing tip are prevented. In addition, the tip ball 13 is slightly retracted by the writing pressure, so that a gap is generated and ink can flow out. By writing, the rotation of the tip ball 13 allows the ink to flow out smoothly and writing with high handwriting density becomes possible.

On the other hand, by pressing a knock bar 25 projecting rearward from the rear shaft, the writing tip of the refill of the ballpoint pen is projected from the front end of the front shaft to enable writing. Locking surface 21b of clip ball portion provided on cylinder 21 and locking portion 22 of rotor 22
When the ball portion of the clip 21 a is lifted, the engagement is released and the writing tip is stored in the tip end of the tip shaft 23 because the writing tip can be held in a protruding state by engagement with the writing tip b. For this reason, even if the writing tip is inserted into the pocket while projecting from the tip of the tip shaft, the accident that the writing tip is automatically stored in the tip of the tip and stains the clothes with ink is prevented. be able to. The writing section can be protruded and stored only by pressing the knock bar, and the impact when storing the writing section can be considerably loosened by the finger in contact with the knock bar, which was not possible in the past. It is now possible to mount a ballpoint pen refill filled with low-viscosity ink. In addition, the locking portion of the rotor does not protrude outside the rear shaft, and since there is no protruding corner portion in the clip ball portion, it can be smoothly inserted and removed from a pocket, etc.
The knock stroke can be shortened, the operation reliability is improved, and the operability can be further improved.
