Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rooftop greening structure which reduces a load to a building through the use of lightweight materials, prevents the scattering of soil due to the influence of wind and smoothly discharge accumulated rain water at the time of raining. SOLUTION: In the rooftop greening device for a building, a pressing concrete 1 erecting a wall part around itself is placed on the rooftop of a building, a base soil 3 is laid on this concrete 1 as cushion material, the upper face of the soil 3 is covered with a waterproof layer 4, a water keeping layer 6 is formed on the layer 4, artificial culture soil 7 of an ultra-light weight is heaped up on the layer 6 and a drip hole under water 8 is opened at the lower side part of the wall part. A blindfolding fence 10 is erected over the wall part 2. Gold Hyuuga being the soil of large particles and drained well is uses as the layer 6 by washing in water and the mixture of thin-particle Kanumatsuchi and perlite by the ratio of 1: 2.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, attempts have been made to cultivate flowers and plants by making small gardens or flower beds on the roof of various buildings. These small gardens and flowerbeds form an enclosure on the rooftop with concrete and other materials, lay the soil in the enclosure, plant flowers and plants, and spray water and chemical fertilizers for cultivation. In most cases, this is done.

[0003] By cultivating flowers and plants on the roof of the building in this way, the summer has the effect of preventing the reflection of sunlight and suppressing the rise in temperature in the building. In recent years, since air pollution has been progressing in large cities, greening the rooftops of various buildings has the effect of improving the air purification and landscape, and promoting greening of many buildings. It is the present situation that is desired. The same can be said for the rooftop or veranda of a residence.

Furthermore, heavy use of chemical fertilizers on the roof of buildings such as dwellings and buildings has a disadvantage that concrete and other aggregates are deteriorated. In addition, during rainfall, it is required that excess rainwater stored in the flowerbed be drained smoothly. When soil or the like is mixed in the drainage, it flows as active water and causes a problem that the drainage pipe leading to the ground may be clogged.

[0006] Furthermore, it is difficult to obtain a garden of sufficient size in an urban area with a high land price, and there is little opportunity to get close to green and get pleasure in growing plants and growing crops. Therefore, even if there is no garden, a farm can be built using the rooftop or veranda, and if flowers and trees can be grown and vegetables can be cultivated, it can be refreshed, relieved of stress, blurred and bedridden. It is thought that it becomes prevention of the like.

In case of heavy rain, excess rainwater is received by the glass fiber reinforced polyester plate 4 as a waterproof layer,
The water is guided to a drain pipe (not shown) provided on the roof of the building through the water drain hole 8. Originally, the concrete forming the flat part of the rooftop of the building is designed with a predetermined gradient given in advance in consideration of drainage. Therefore, as described above, the surplus rainwater is applied to the waterproof sheet 5 along the gradient. Through the drain hole 8 under the water, and naturally flows down to the drain pipe.

As described above in detail, according to the rooftop greening structure of the present invention, the basic soil, the waterproof layer, the waterproof sheet, the water retaining layer, and the artificial culture soil used are all lightweight members. Therefore, the load on buildings such as dwellings and buildings is reduced, and a relatively large-sized farm, flower bed or small garden can be constructed without damaging the buildings.

The artificial culture soil used is not only lightweight but also suitable for cultivating flowers and plants.
In addition, since rainwater that has passed through the artificial culture soil is stored in the water retaining layer, it is not necessary to inject water into the artificial culture soil or excessive fertilization, and there is no fear that concrete and other aggregates caused by heavy use of chemical fertilizers are deteriorated.

The surplus rainwater is received by the waterproof layer and naturally flows down to the drain pipe through the water drain hole, so that the water stored in the flower bed can be smoothly drained. At this time, since the water retaining layer and the artificial culture soil have been washed beforehand and used, there is no occurrence of active water due to the contamination of the drainage with the soil and the like, and there is no occurrence of a situation where the drain pipe leading to the ground is clogged.

In addition, the appearance is improved by erection of the blind fence while maintaining an appropriate height above the wall, and especially under the condition that the soil and the like are easily dried by the influence of the wind on the roof of the building. Even if it is, the scattering of the artificial culture soil can be prevented.

According to the present invention, greening of houses and building roofs is possible in a relatively short construction period, and the use of lightweight materials at the time of construction reduces the load on buildings and reduces the wind. It is possible to provide a rooftop greening structure capable of smoothly draining rainwater stored in a flowerbed at the time of rainfall without scattering of soil due to the influence.
