2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, synthetic resin molded articles have been given a wood grain pattern and a woody feel of natural wood to have a color tone and texture close to that of natural wood, and have been used for interior materials for vehicles, side moldings, interior materials for houses, Attempts have been made to use it for handrails, table frames, gaskets and the like coated on steel pipes. For example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 62-41612 discloses that a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer is added with an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and a plasticizer and is filled with a high amount of wood flour, so that it is light and elastic. Methods for obtaining rich moldings are disclosed. However, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymers generally have a problem that heat stability is poor and extrusion and injection molding are difficult.

Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open (JP-A) No. 61-66732 discloses a profile-extruded product comprising a vinyl chloride resin mixed with an acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer, a methyl methacrylate-acrylate copolymer and a plasticizer. There is disclosed a molded product obtained by molding a resin composition for use, which has a glossy fine grain and a small compression set. However, the above-mentioned composition has a problem that although wood grain is developed, since it does not contain wood flour, it has a glossy surface and has a poor woody feel.

It is necessary to make the average polymerization degree higher than VC (a) by 100 to 500. If the average degree of polymerization is less than 100, the grain pattern becomes unclear, and if the average degree of polymerization exceeds 500, the surface is deteriorated because it is formed as a block (pellet).

The liquid plasticizers used in the compositions (A) and (B) include phthalic esters, adipic esters, trimellitic esters, polyester plasticizers,
General-purpose materials such as an epoxy plasticizer can be suitably used. The amount of the liquid plasticizer added to the composition (A) is PVC (a).
It is limited to 25 to 60 parts by weight, preferably 30 to 55 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight. If the added amount is less than 25 parts by weight, the molded article has poor flexibility, and if it exceeds 60 parts by weight, the compression set of the molded article becomes large and the grain pattern is hardly developed.

The amount of the liquid plasticizer added to the composition (B) must be 0 to 20 parts by weight less than the amount added to the composition (A). The water content of the wood flour used in the compositions (A) and (B) is limited to 5% by weight or less. If the water content exceeds 5% by weight, moisture remains in the composition, large bubbles appear in the molded product, and the surface condition deteriorates. The average particle size of the wood flour is limited to 30 to 500 μm, preferably 10 to

In the compositions (A) and (B), the amount of wood flour added is limited to 10 to 100 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of PVC (a) or (b). The type of wood used for the wood flour is not particularly limited, but, for example, conifers such as cedar, lauan, toga, and hinoki are suitable. Depending on the purpose of use, wood flour obtained from hardwood can also be used. Sawdust, rice husk, finely ground powder of particle board, or the like can also be used.

In the compositions (A) and (B), the amount of the acrylic processing aid added is PVC (a) or (b).
The amount is limited to 1 to 10 parts by weight, preferably 3 to 10 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight. If the added amount is less than 1 part by weight, the moldability is poor because the amount is too small, and the compression set of the molded product becomes large. This is because if the amount exceeds 10 parts by weight, the molded product lacks flexibility.

The weight average molecular weight of the acrylic processing aid is preferably 2,000,000 to 5,000,000. If the weight-average molecular weight is less than 2,000,000, the viscosity at the time of melting is weak and molding is difficult, and the compression set of the molded product also becomes large. If the weight average molecular weight exceeds 5,000,000, the viscosity at the time of melting becomes too high, and the surface state of the molded product deteriorates.

The colored pigment used in the composition (B) may be any color pigment that is darker than the composition (A) in order to produce a wood grain pattern. On the other hand, it is limited to 0.5 to 6 parts by weight. If the amount is less than 0.5 part by weight, a good grain pattern cannot be obtained, and if the amount exceeds 6 parts by weight, the grain pattern is too strong and the wood texture is inferior.

The compositions (A) and (B) are prepared by an extrusion method,
Although it can be molded by an injection molding method, a single extrusion molding method is more preferable. At that time, it is preferable that each of the compositions (A) and (B) is pelletized. As the conditions for pelletization, the compositions (A) and (B) are each heated at 80 to 120 ° C. by a mixer, and the compound is formed into a pellet at a temperature lower than the molding temperature using an extruder. . As the pellet conditions, the cylinder temperature of the extruder was set to 100 to 150 ° C., and the temperature of the pellet die was set to 130.
The temperature is preferably set to 160 ° C.

The compositions (A) and (B) of the present invention are constituted as described above, and the composition (B) is the composition (A)
Since the average polymerization degree of PVC is higher, the amount of plasticizer is smaller, and the blending ratio is darker and smaller than that of the composition (A), the composition (B) has a good grain pattern in the matrix of the composition (A). To form In addition, when a suitable amount of wood flour is blended with the compositions (A) and (B), the molded product is excellent in woody feeling, and is semi-hard and excellent in flexibility by adding a plasticizer. Further, by adding an acrylic processing aid, a molded article having excellent moldability, small compression set and good surface condition can be obtained.
