Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by collecting rainwater into an underground rainwater inlet from a roof and filtering rainwater, storing purified rainwater into a ground water storage tank and supplying stored rainwater as water for miscellaneous use. SOLUTION: Rainwater falling on a roof is collected by a gutter, etc., and flowed into a rainwater inlet 2 through a piping 1 buried under the ground. The inlet 2 is filled with a filter medium 3 while a pipe 5 flowing out surplus rainwater is bent upwards and lifted up to the upper section of the filter medium 3, and purified rainwater passed through the filter medium 3 is stored on the filter medium 3. The rainwater is communicated with a controller 6 by a detector 7, and forwarded into a ground water storage tank by a pump 1-8. When a fixed quantity of rainwater is collected in the water storage tank, the collection is communicated with the controller 6 by a detector 10, and the pump 1-8 is stopped. When rainwater in the water storage tank is in short supply, city water 11 is supplied and a specified water level is maintained. City water is supplied to a flush toilet, a garden, etc., through a piping 13 by a pump 2-12. Accordingly, construction cost can be educed, an installation space can be narrowed, and the rainwater utilization system can be maintained easily.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, rain that has fallen on the roof of a building is collected by a gutter, and flows out to a drain through a pipe, a rain basin or the like provided around the building. In recent years, our country has been urbanized and the amount of water used has increased remarkably. Along with this, water resources are being developed through the construction of dams, desalination of seawater, excavation of wells, reuse of municipal wastewater, reuse of industrial wastewater, etc., but water shortages continue due to the slow speed. . In particular, during the drought season in summer when rainfall is low, large cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, as well as Hiroshima, Kagawa, Ehime, and Okayama, are facing serious water shortages, and have become a major social problem. For this reason, local governments with particularly severe water shortages are calling for saving water, installing water saving tools on tap water taps at homes and public facilities, providing incentives for well digging, and installing pumps for recycling remaining water in baths. We are working to create a unique system to cover a part of the purchase price and reduce the disruption to the daily life of the residents.

The effective use of rainwater is an important means of securing water resources that can be done by each person or each household, as well as recycling remaining water in baths, including water saving at households and public facilities. is there. However, most of what can be used as rainwater is limited to those that have fallen on the roof of buildings such as homes, public facilities, factories, etc.In current buildings, if the rainwater of the building itself directly falls or permeates Since the building is damaged or corroded and adversely affects the building, install a gutter on the roof of the building and install piping and rainwater basins around it, and rainwater will pass through them and flow directly to the drain. The facilities are as follows. Therefore, regarding the effective use of rainwater, the remaining water in the bath is sent by a simple pump, or put in a bucket, carried by hand, and reused by a washing machine or sprayed on the garden plants. It is not something that can be easily done with each home. In other words, in the case of rainwater, the scale becomes wide and exceeds the level that can be devised by individuals, so equipment measures are absolutely necessary. Therefore, recently, many proposals have been made for rainwater effective use facilities.

[0005] However, these proposals have problems such as that the equipment is exaggerated and the installation space is not easily taken up, the equipment cost is high, the maintenance is expensive, and the water quality required for effective use is difficult to obtain. There is. For example, JP-A-5-295767 and JP-A-6-26447
7. In Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 55-21376, rainwater is used for flush toilets or car washes, but it is necessary to newly install a water storage tank or a sedimentation tank between the roof and the flush toilet, which requires equipment space. However, there are drawbacks in that it is extremely difficult to take, the equipment cost is high, and sufficient water quality cannot be obtained. Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 6-7466 discloses a device for purifying rainwater and storing it in a receiving tank. However, due to its structural complexity, equipment costs increase and maintenance seems to be very difficult. In addition, some proposals can be found in patents and utility models, but all have the above-mentioned problems, and none of them have been put to practical use.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made as a result of intensive studies on a rainwater utilization apparatus which does not have the above-mentioned problems.
Has been achieved. In other words, the present invention collects rainwater falling on the roof of the building through a gutter and piping into a rainwater basin buried underground, and the rainwater basin is filled with a filtering material at a position higher than the rainwater inlet, The rainwater that has flowed into the rainwater basin is purified by this filtering material and stored in the upper part of the rainwater basin, and the purified rainwater is sent to a water tank installed on the ground by a pump. Facilities for automatically supplying tap water when rainwater is in short supply are provided so that a specified amount of water is always stored, and the water in the storage tank is pumped by a pump, and flush toilets, car washes, and gardens are provided. A rainwater use system characterized by being used for watering plants and the like.

In the present invention, a filter material in which granular activated carbon is put in a bag of a filter cloth is preferable because of its good water quality and easy maintenance. Also, in the present invention, it is necessary to store the purified rainwater that has passed through the filter medium at the upper part of the rainwater basin. As a means for this, a part of the piping on the side of the rainwater basin that discharges excess rainwater is provided by the rainwater basin. It is good to raise the height to the upper part because the structure is simple and the cost is low, and since the surplus rainwater does not pass through the filter, the filter is not contaminated. Furthermore, it is preferable to use the last rainwater basin used in the present invention among several rainwater basins, since the rainwater collection amount is large and additional equipment can be easily installed. According to the present invention as described above, a so-called rainwater utilization system has been completed, in which the cost of facilities which has never been proposed or illustrated is low, the space for installing the facilities is not so large, and high-quality rainwater can be effectively used.

1 is a structural diagram schematically showing a rainwater utilization system according to the present invention. First, rainwater that falls on the roof of a building is collected by a gutter attached below the roof, passes through a pipe (1) buried underground through a pipe provided on the side of the building, and then a rainwater basin (buried underground) 2). In the rainwater basin (2), a so-called filter material (3), in which a filter material is put in a filter bag, is placed on a mounting table (4) and filled, and a pipe (5) through which excess rainwater flows out is filled with the flow. By bending upward at a point slightly below the exit and raising it to the upper part of the rainwater basin (3), the clean rainwater that has passed through the filter medium (3) is placed on the filter medium (3) above the rainwater basin (2). You will accumulate. The clean rainwater stored in the upper part of the rainwater basin is communicated by a detector (7) to a controller (6) and sent to a water tank (9) installed on the ground by a pump (8). The water tank (9) is provided with a detector (10). When a specified amount of rainwater enters, the controller is notified and the pump (8) stops.

When rainwater runs short in the water tank (9), tap water (11) is supplied so that a constant water level is always maintained. Further, a pipe (13) is provided at a lower portion of the water storage tank (9) for sending water to a destination such as a flush toilet, watering plants in a garden, or a car wash via a pump (12). The rainwater utilization system of the present invention described above is simple in addition to a simple filter material to ordinary equipment, and can be provided with some equipment such as a water storage tank, so equipment costs are low,
The installation space for the equipment may be small. In addition, since the structure of the rainwater basin and the replacement and cleaning of the filter media are simple, even a layman can easily do it, and there is no problem in maintenance.
