Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain base paper for adhesive paper, excellent in solvent resistance and not causing the penetration of a releasing agent through the paper, and to obtain the adhesive paper. SOLUTION: This base paper for adhesive paper is produced by impregnating base paper with a nonionic or anionic aqueous polyurethane resin and a fluororesin in amounts of 2-15wt.% and 0.02-0.3wt.%, respectively, based on the weight of the raw paper. The adhesive paper is produced by coating both the surfaces of the base paper with an adhesive agent and a releasing agent, respectively.

According to "Development Materials of New Adhesive (Adhesive) Technologies and Their Applications and Various Applied Products" (published by Management Development Center in 1978), these release agents have long-chain alkyl groups. Copolymers, natural or synthetic resin alkyl group-containing compounds, perfluoroalkyl group-containing compounds, silicon and other metal-containing substances, and low-adhesion resins containing no long-chain alkyl groups are used.

[0007] The undercoat is used for the purpose of preventing the release agent from uniformly penetrating through the base paper without penetrating the base paper and for enhancing the adhesion (anchoring force) between the base paper and the release agent. In general, blends of natural rubber and resin, polyurethane resin, vinyl acetate resin, ethylene vinyl acetate resin and the like are used.

Means for Solving the Problems The inventors of the present invention have intensively studied to enhance the barrier property of the base paper against organic solvents, and as a result, impregnated the base paper with a fluororesin-compatible resin in combination with the fluororesin. As a result, the present invention has been completed. That is, the present invention relates to a base for adhesive paper, wherein 2 to 15% by weight of a nonionic or anionic water-soluble polyurethane resin and 0.02 to 0.3% by weight of a fluororesin are impregnated with respect to the weight of the paper. It is paper. Further, the present invention is an adhesive paper characterized in that an adhesive is applied to one surface of the base paper for an adhesive paper and a release agent is applied to the other surface.

The barrier property of an organic solvent obtained by using a water-soluble polyurethane resin alone is not practically sufficient, and a necessary and sufficient organic solvent barrier property can be obtained only when used in combination with a fluorine-based resin. Further, the polyurethane resin functions as a binder for the fluororesin to the paper.

The solids content of the fluororesin is preferably 0.02 to 0.3% by weight based on the weight of the paper. Below this, even when used in combination with a water-soluble urethane resin, the barrier property of the organic solvent is not sufficient, and when the amount exceeds this amount, the barrier property becomes flat.

The above test solution was gently dropped onto a test piece, and a test was rejected if black spots were formed. The highest oil resistance of a droplet that did not penetrate was defined as the oil resistance of the test piece. The higher the oil resistance, the higher the solvent resistance. A practical oil resistance of 10 or more is required.

Was evaluated for the solvent barrier property of the adhesive paper base paper obtained in the above. Table 2 shows the results. As is clear from Table 2, the adhesive paper base papers of the present invention shown in Examples 1 to 3 have excellent oil resistance,
That is, it is understood that the solvent barrier property is excellent.

On the other hand, Comparative Examples 1 and 2, which were not impregnated with the fluororesin, had poor solvent barrier properties. Also,
Comparative Example 3 impregnated only with the fluororesin also has poor solvent barrier properties. In Comparative Example 4 in which the fluorine resin impregnation amount is 0.01% even when the fluorine resin and the polyurethane resin are used in combination, the solvent barrier property is inferior. It can be seen that even in Comparative Example 5 in which the ionic properties of the fluorine resin and the polyurethane resin were not matched, the solvent barrier properties were poor.
