Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire-loop type processing instrument for endoscope which easily collects foreign objects, etc., in the narrow hollow of a pipe, and is highly safe when an elastic wire is broken due to excessive force. SOLUTION: In a wire-loop type processing instrument for endoscope in which several elastic wires 3 bound at the top end and the rear end to form a loop are connected to the top end of an operation wire 2, a top end A of the elastic wires 3 is not bound using other materials but soldered, brazed, or welded to be bound into one body.

2. Description of the Related Art Generally, a wire loop type treatment instrument for an endoscope having a loop formed by a wire, such as a basket type foreign matter collection tool for an endoscope, has an operation wire inserted in a mantle tube so as to be able to advance and retreat in an axial direction. A loop is formed by a plurality of elastic wires integrally arranged on the front end side and the rear end side, and the operation wire is connected to the rear end.

For this reason, for example, when removing a calculus in a thin lumen such as a bile duct or the like, if the collection tool is inserted into the bile duct, the calculus is pushed into the interior of the bile duct with a distal tip, and the calculus is removed. May not be able to be brought to the position of the elastic wire.

The length d2 of the joint at the rear end side of the elastic wire 3 and the length d3 of the joint at the distal end of the operation wire 2 are given by:
By making the length of the joint portion of the distal end portion A of the elastic wire 3 longer than the length d1 (that is, d2> d1 and d3> d1), the distal end portion of the elastic wire 3 is always required when an excessive force is applied to the elastic wire 3. The joint of A is broken.
