2. Description of the Related Art As a connection structure for this type of roof shingles,
For example, there is one disclosed in JP-A-8-60813. As shown in FIG. 4, this is a through-hook having a pair of opposing locking portions 50 and a gutter portion 51 integrally formed between the locking portions 50, 50 (referred to as a connection frame in the publication). .) 52 are prepared, and the through hook 52 is fixed to the purlin 1 with the self-drilling screw 29. Then, the locked portion 53 at the end of the roof plate 4 is engaged with the locking portion 50 of the through-hanger 52. The gap between the ends of the shingle 4 is closed by fitting the cap 11 into it. At this time, a sealing wall 14a is formed at both ends of the top plate portion 14 of the cap 11 so as to protrude, and the sealing wall 14a is provided at an end of an upper surface of the roof plate 4 in a paragraph portion 54.
The rainwater is prevented from penetrating between the ends of the roof plate 4 by overlapping the roof plate 4 with a waterproof sealing 55. Between the base plate 2 on the main house 1 and the back surface of the roof plate 4,
A backup material 13 made of a wood wool board or a hard heat insulating board is provided.

However, the cap 11
In the connection structure of the vertical roof shingle in which the waterproof sealing 55 is interposed between the seal wall 14a of the roof shingle 4 and the paragraph portion 54 of the roof shingle 4, the sealing wall 1 is used when the cap 11 is transported to the site.
If the seal wall 14a is slightly deformed, the seal wall 14a is locally placed in a defective state protruding upward from the upper surface of the roof plate 4, and the cap 11 is moved by wind pressure as shown by a virtual line F in FIG. However, there was a case where the protruding portion was lifted up from the protruding portion to reduce or lose the effect of preventing rainwater from entering. Although the backup material 13 is provided between the back surface of the roof plate 4 and the base plate 2, since the backup material 13 is stacked on the base plate 2 without any gap, dew condensation easily occurs. However, there is a risk that water may enter the field base plate 2 and fall indoors, fall onto the ceiling material and cause stains on the ceiling material, or in the worst case, water droplets may fall from the ceiling.

Since the watertight packing 10 is placed in the gutter 9 of the roof plate 4, the lower end of the side plate 15 is tightly engaged with the watertight packing 10 as the cap 12 is fitted.
Accordingly, even when rainwater enters between the overlapping surfaces of the cap 12 and the roof panel 4, it is possible to effectively stop the water with the waterproof packing 10. Therefore, waterproof packing 1
Zero prevents rainwater intrusion to the utmost, and even if it does,
Also, even when the rainwater overflows from the gutter section 9, the rainwater can be discharged to the eaves by the gutter 18, and the inflow of the rainwater into the room can be effectively prevented. Since the through hook 11 formed integrally with the gutter 18 is used as the locking metal 19, the number of members and the number of construction steps can be significantly reduced.

The metal fitting 19 is passed through the gutter 18 between the left and right first upright plate portions 24, 24 and placed on the field base plate 2. The first upright plate portion 24 and the second upright plate portion The fixing plate portion 23 between the fixing members 27 is fixed to the roof base material 1 via the base plate 2 with a stopper 29 such as a self-drilling screw. At this time, since the left and right ends of the fixed plate portion 23 project further outward than the second upright plate portion 27 to form the auxiliary seat piece 23a, the contact area of the locking metal 19 with the field plate 2 is reduced by the auxiliary seat portion. Piece 23a
Therefore, it can be mounted and fixed on the base plate 2 stably. The gutter 18 is fixed by frictional engagement with the locking metal 19, but if this alone is used, there is a risk of sliding movement toward the eaves when the roof slope is large, so the end of the gutter 18 on the ridge side is fixed with bolts or the like. I do. Other configurations, for example, the backup material 30, the roof plate 4, the watertight packing 10, and the cap 1
2 is the same as in the above embodiment.
