Description of the Related Art When an endoscope is inserted into a body cavity to observe the inside of the body cavity, a body fluid in the body cavity or a contrast agent used in an endoscope treatment adheres to the surface of an observation window of the endoscope. There is. Therefore, a nozzle is provided at the end of the endoscope for removing body fluid and the like attached to the surface of the observation window by ejecting water or air.

In this case, if the inside of the nozzle is not thoroughly washed to remove body fluid and the like, the body fluid and the like may adhere to the nozzle and clog the inside of the nozzle, making it impossible to supply air or water.

It is known that the end cap is detached from the end of the endoscope so that the nozzle and the periphery of the nozzle can be easily cleaned. However, since the tip cap is a small component, has the same diameter as the endoscope tip, and is formed without unevenness, it is difficult to perform the attachment / detachment operation from the endoscope tip.

The end cap is easily attached to and detached from the endoscope end by providing the end cap. In Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-29700, a recess for engaging a human finger is provided in the end cap. ,
An example in which the tip cap can be easily attached and detached from the tip of the endoscope is shown.

The distal end of the endoscope described in Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 0-200400 is provided with a concave part having a corner at a corner on the outer peripheral surface of a detachable distal end cover member (a distal end cap) at the distal end of the endoscope. The distal end cover member can be removed from the distal end of the endoscope by engaging a tool or a finger of a person. In this case, dirt such as body fluids easily accumulates in the recesses, and it is difficult to remove accumulated dirt by washing. In particular, since a cleaning brush or a sponge hardly hits the corner where the inner corner of the concave portion is formed, hand cleaning is a very labor-intensive operation, so that the work efficiency is reduced.

A jig for removing the distal end cover member from the outer peripheral surface of the distal end of the insertion portion, the endoscope having a distal end cover member formed with a nozzle communicating with a fluid conduit opened to the distal end configuration portion. Is formed in a concave shape, and a corner of the concave engaging portion is formed by a concave surface connected by a smooth curved surface.

Therefore, using this jig, the distal end cover member can be easily removed from the distal end of the endoscope, and dirt such as bodily fluids is difficult to accumulate in the engagement portion. By washing, dirt can be easily removed.

A notch 19 is formed at the boundary surface between the tip cover member 16 and the tip component 10, and the notch 19 is removed from the tip component 10 to form an engagement portion. (The end face 16 of the rear end of the tip cover member 16)
a) is eliminated, and a brush or the like easily enters the concave portion formed by the notch portion 19, so that the notch portion 19 itself is cleaned as compared with the case where the concave portion in which the jig 23 is engaged is provided in the front cover member 16 itself. Labor is significantly reduced. In particular, dirt and the like are likely to remain without having the curved surface 49 at the corners, and in the concave portion having a depth enough to be engaged with the jig, it is difficult for the brush hair to hit every corner, and it takes much time for cleaning, This is not necessary in the present invention.

In addition, the surface constituting the notch 19 is a concave portion without a corner, a flat surface or a smooth curved surface. Therefore, even if dirt adheres to the notch 19, it can be easily washed. In particular, when the ridge forming the boundary between the notch 19 and the distal end component 10 is chamfered or the like and has no ridge, the cleaning performance is better.

However, it is possible to freely fit into the engaging portion formed by the cutout portion 19, and one jig can cope with attachment and detachment of several types of tip cover members, so that the jig can be minimized. Thus, there is an effect that the operator can easily operate the front end cover member without making the preparation and operation of the jig complicated.

The end cover member can be easily removed from the end of the endoscope by using a jig, and the engaging portion becomes difficult to collect dirt such as bodily fluids. By washing, dirt can be easily removed.
In addition, the jig can be smoothly engaged with the tip cover and can be pulled out by not providing a concave portion more than necessary in the cutout portion of the tip component. In particular, since the concave portion is provided only in the distal end component, the labor for cleaning the distal end cover member can be reduced.

る。As described above, the engaging portion of the jig for removing the distal end cover member from the distal end of the endoscope is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion of the endoscope, and this engaging portion has a smooth corner portion. Because it is formed in a concave shape connected by a curved surface, the tip cover member can be easily removed from the end of the endoscope using a jig, and it becomes difficult for dirt such as bodily fluids to accumulate in the engagement part, For example, even if filth accumulates, it can be easily washed and removed, so that the cleaning work is reduced and the working efficiency can be improved.
