SOLUTION: This plasma display device is constituted by using the PDP 1 as a display device for display television videos, etc. An elastic material 2, such as silicone resin sheet, having high thermal conductivity, is affixed by an adhesive material, etc., to approximately the entire surface of the rear surface of the PDP 1.
