Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a ventilating device operate smoothly and achieve a high dehumidifying effect even in a place such as a warehouse, storeroom, or closet in a dwelling house where the space is fully packed with things. SOLUTION: A ventilating fan 3 is set inside a cylindrical air duct 2. The ventilating fan 3 is connected with a motor 4 and rotated by power supplied from a solar battery 5 installed outdoors. The air duct 2 is passed through an air-passage hole opened through a wall 6 of a storeroom and a covering hood 7 is fitted over the hole. A series of grate-shaped air-discharge openings 2a is provided circumferentially in the end part of the air duct 2, which projects into the storeroom. A moisture-absorbing part 8, formed like substantially a ring-shaped basket with a multiplicity of small holes opened through, is placed in a manner of communicating with the air duct 2. The inside of the moisture- absorbing part 8 is filled with a mixture of zeolite and activated carbon as a moisture absorbent 8a, the zeolite being a mineral consisting of a hydrous silicate of magnesium having a high moisture-absorbing effect and the activated carbon having a deodorizing effect. A net cover 9 is attached to the front of the moisture-absorbing part 8.

However, simply installing a dehumidifying agent requires replacement of the dehumidifying agent that has been saturated by absorbing water, which is not only troublesome to perform frequently but also costly. There's a problem. By the way, the present inventor previously filed an application for a ventilator for the purpose of dehumidifying the inside of the osseous chamber (Karot) of the grave, in Japanese Patent Application No. 6-99042. This is configured such that a ventilation fan is provided so as to communicate with the moisture absorber provided in the carot, and a solar cell is used as a drive source of the ventilation fan, and the following effects are brought about. That is, (a) the moisture absorber itself can be dried during the day of fine weather by absorbing moisture in the rain or cloudy weather where the solar cell does not generate electricity and at night, and the moisture absorber always has its dehumidifying function. It can be fully demonstrated.

The present inventor has conducted an experiment to apply the dehumidifying device to a warehouse, a storeroom, a closet of a house, and the like. However, it has been found that in these facilities, the stored items such as futons may block the ventilation fan, and the ventilation fan may stop, which is a so-called stalled state, resulting in poor ventilation. In view of the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, the present invention provides a ventilator capable of smoothly operating even in a facility filled with stored items such as a warehouse, storeroom or closet of a house, and capable of obtaining a high dehumidifying effect. It is intended.

For this reason, in the present invention, a ventilator comprises: a ventilating fan; and a moisture absorbing part which is provided to surround the ventilating fan while accommodating a moisture absorber therein.
The first feature is that the motor rotates the ventilation fan and a solar cell connected to the motor, and the moisture absorber is a single product of magnesium hydrous silicate mineral, activated carbon, and a fungicide. Alternatively, a second characteristic is that they are mixed, and a third characteristic is that the moisture absorbing portion is covered with a mesh cover.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, first, the case where the present apparatus is installed in a storeroom will be described. A ventilation fan 3 is attached inside the cylindrical ventilation duct 2 of the ventilation device 1. A motor 4 is connected to the ventilation fan 3 and can be rotated by electric power supplied from a solar cell 5 installed outdoors (a roof of a storeroom). The ventilation duct 2 is inserted into a ventilation hole 6a formed in a wall 6 of the store room, fitted with a hood cover 7 and attached, so that it can be ventilated outdoors. Further, an end portion of the ventilation duct 2 protruding into the storage is provided with a drain-shaped exhaust port 2a along the peripheral surface thereof.

The moisture absorbing portion 8 is the exhaust port 2 of the ventilation duct 2.
While being communicated with a, it is integrally provided so as to surround the end portion thereof and is formed into a substantially annular basket-like shape by forming a large number of small holes therein, and as a moisture absorber 8a. It is filled with a mixture of sepiolite, which is a hydrous silicate mineral of magnesium with high moisture absorption, and activated carbon with deodorant action. Further, an antifungal agent may be appropriately added to these.

A mesh cover 9 is attached to the front surface of the moisture absorbing portion 8 so that the contents do not block the ventilation fan and the ventilation fan 3 does not stall. According to this device, the ventilation fan 3 can forcibly discharge the moisture of the moisture absorber 8a that has been saturated by absorbing the moisture.
At the same time, fresh outside air flows in from a ventilation port 6a provided in the lower part of the wall facing the wall 6 of the store room to which the ventilation device 1 is attached for ventilation. That is, it absorbs moisture in rainy or cloudy weather where the solar cell 5 does not generate electricity and at night, and dries the moisture absorber 8a itself during daytime in fine weather. As a result, the moisture absorber can always exert its dehumidifying function sufficiently, and the inside of the facility can always be kept dry. Further, since the electric power is supplied to the motor 4 by the solar cell 5, it is not necessary to supply electricity from the commercial power source, and the construction related to these is not necessary.

As shown in FIG. 4, when it is used in the indoor closet 12, the ventilation devices 1 mounted on the ceiling of the closet 12 are connected by the air collecting duct 10 to be gathered together, and the exhaust device 11 having a large output is produced. It may be connected to and ventilated collectively. Here, a large number of ventilation holes 13a are formed in the partition plate 13 of the closet 12, so that the lower part of the closet 12 can also be ventilated. It was also found that the use of this device for a closet not only enables dehumidification and deodorization in the closet, but also has a secondary effect that the stored bedding softly dries. Needless to say, this device can be used for bathrooms, toilets, etc. to obtain the desired effect, but it can also be used for ventilation in public telephone boxes and vehicle compartments.
