Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of the ceiling interior trim material, and to improve the design by forming several lines of easily bending part along each edge of a molded ceiling interior trim material, and attaching a general part inside of the easily bending part to a ceiling panel with the adhesive agent, and bending a part of the ceiling interior material outside of the easily bending part into a step-shape, and inserting the edge of the ceiling interior trim material into a clearance between the ceiling panel and a roof rail. SOLUTION: Three lines, for example, of easily bending parts 21, 22, 23 are formed along an edge 11 of a base material 10 in parallel with each other. These easily bending parts are formed by notching the base material in the thickness direction, and the easily bending parts 21, 23 formed by notching from the surface side of the base material and the easily bending part 22 formed by notching from the back side are formed each other so that the edge 11 can be bent. A general part 12 of the base material 10 is attached to a ceiling panel by plural adhesive sheets 30. The edge 11 of the base material 10 is bent zigzag at the easily bending parts 21, 22, 23, and pulled inward once, and thereafter, the edge 11 is inserted into a clearance 52 between the ceiling panel 50 and a roof rail 51, and thereafter, when the bending force is released, the edge 11 is pushed into the clearance 52 by the flexibility of the base material.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, interior materials made of fabric or resin are laid and decorated in the interior of an automobile formed of steel plate panels. Among them, the ceiling interior material is laid on the ceiling panel, and a flexible sheet-like interior material is laid along the ceiling panel with an adhesive or the like to be laid, and a base material having a certain rigidity. There was a molded ceiling interior material that was drawn and molded to retain its shape and fixed to the ceiling panel with a fixture. In the pasting ceiling interior material, since the interior material material is attached to the ceiling panel with an adhesive, the shape of the interior material after laying is approximately along the ceiling panel, and there is no need to mold the material. Although the process is simple, it is impossible to make a shape having a large difference from the ceiling panel, and the degree of freedom in design is poor. On the other hand, the molded ceiling interior material is
Since it has self-shape retention, it can have a shape different from that of the ceiling panel, and the degree of freedom in design can be increased. In the case of a molded ceiling, the mounting structure to the ceiling panel does not match the shape of the molded ceiling and the shape of the ceiling panel, so laying by pasting is not possible.Mainly near the edges of the molded ceiling, the sun visor , Assist grips, and other garnishes were attached, and it was supported as a fixture for the molded ceiling. In this case, since the molded ceiling receives only partial support in the vicinity of the edge, it is necessary for the base material to be rigid so as to retain its own shape and not buckle due to its own weight. For this reason, the weight is increased and the cost is increased as compared with the sticking ceiling.

In the mounting structure of a molded ceiling interior material for an automobile of the present invention, a flexible base material is molded to secure a degree of freedom in designability as an interior material, and the mounting structure is provided inside the peripheral portion. In addition to the force of adhering and supporting the relatively flat general part to the ceiling panel with an adhesive, the edge forms an easily bendable side by utilizing the flexibility of the base material, and the edge is formed with this easily bendable side. Once bent in a stepped shape, insert it into the gap between the ceiling panel and roof rail, and combine the force to support the edge by the repulsive force (the force that the folded edge tries to return to) to support the molded ceiling in a distributed manner. Therefore, even if the rigidity of the molded ceiling base material is reduced, the base material can be attached, and the base material can be made thin and lightweight. In a further advanced embodiment, the end edge is formed in a U-shaped cross section, and the end edge of the roof rail is received in this U-shaped shape, whereby the end edge of the roof rail can be covered and the designability can be improved.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows the appearance of a molded ceiling interior material 10 for an automobile, which is suitable for the mounting structure of the present invention, from the back surface (surface facing the ceiling panel) side. This molded ceiling interior material is formed by drawing a flexible base material, and is formed so as to be able to retain its own shape with the design pattern 14 or the like. As such a flexible base material that can be drawn, a thermoplastic resin sheet or foam, a material in which a filler such as glass fiber is added, or a material in which fibers are entangled with a low melting point component or a binder Etc. can be used. As a required level of flexibility, it is necessary to have the property of returning to the original shape when the bending force is released even after being once bent. Often, a design skin material (not shown) such as a nonwoven fabric is provided on the surface of the base material. The outer peripheral shape of the base material is generally similar to that of the ceiling panel to be laid, but it is preferably slightly larger (5 to 30 mm) than the ceiling panel at least in the state where no external force is applied before laying. Each of the edges 11 of the base material is provided with an easily bendable side 20 parallel to the edge.
This easy-bend side has some processing on the flexible base material,
The bending rigidity is made lower than that of other portions to facilitate bending. As this processing method, it is possible to heat and press the base material to make it thinner than other portions, or to make a cut in the middle of the thickness direction of the base material. It is preferable that the easily bendable side has two or more rows, and the bending directions are opposite to each other so that the zigzag bending is possible. It is effective to form the notches 15 at the corners of the base material in order to easily bend the easily bendable side. An adhesive 30 is applied to the back surface of the base material, a relatively flat portion of the general surface 12 inside the easily bendable side. Preferred materials include pressure sensitive adhesive in the form of double-sided tape and reactive adhesive by spray coating. There may be one bonding site or a plurality of bonding sites. Next, the mounting structure of the molded ceiling interior material will be described. FIG. 3 shows the mounting structure of the molded ceiling interior material 10 of the first embodiment of the present invention, and is a sectional view taken along the line AA ′ of the automobile 60 as shown in FIG. The ceiling panel 50 of an automobile is supported by a reinforcing inner panel called a roof rail 51 on the side of the vehicle. The roof rail is constructed by welding two steel plates 51a and 51b so that the inside thereof is hollow and the end portion 51c is welded in two layers. In the first embodiment, three rows of easily bendable sides 21, 22, 23 parallel to the edges of the base material are formed. This is formed by making a cut of 50% in the thickness direction of the base material, and by making 21 and 23 by cutting from the front side of the base material and 22 by cutting from the back side of the base material alternately,
The edge portion of the base material can be bent zigzag. As for the mounting procedure, first, the general portion of the base material is attached to the ceiling panel with a plurality of adhesive sheets 30. Next, the edge of the base material is bent in a zigzag by the easily bendable side, and the edge is once pulled inward to form a gap 5 between the ceiling panel and the roof rail.
When the bending force is released after inserting the edge into 2, the bend of the easily bendable side is released due to the flexibility of the base material, the edge is pushed into the gap between the ceiling panel and the roof rail, and the edge is supported. To be done. FIG. 4 is a sectional view of a molded ceiling interior material suitable for the second embodiment mounting structure of the present invention. 2 on the edge
The easily bendable sides 24, 25 of the row are formed. These easily bendable sides are preferably formed by partially thinning the thickness of the base material by heating and pressing. Edge 11 outside the easily bendable side
Has a U-shaped cross section 13. The mounting structure of the second embodiment is shown in FIG. FIG. 5 is a sectional view equivalent to the sectional view 3 of the first embodiment. Also in the second embodiment, as in the first embodiment, the end edge portion is bent inward by bending the easily bendable side and is pulled inward to be inserted into the gap 52 between the ceiling panel and the roof rail. In the case of the second embodiment, the edge 51C of the roof rail is received inside the molded U-shaped cross section 13. The second embodiment is suitable when design is important and the edge of the roof rail is not exposed, or when a space for passing the wiring 40 for transmission is formed.
