Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily and surely sew and attach many spangles to cloth by a sewing machine by locking the cloth and the spangles to prescribed locking members and intermittently sending a movable table so as to position the locking member to the sewing and attaching position of a sewing needle. CONSTITUTION: At the time of sewing and attaching the spangles S, the cloth F of a part to be sewn and attached is passed through the respective locking members 13 erected on the movable table 11 with a prescribed pitch P and locked first. Then, the spangles S are passed through the respective locking members 13 and locked. That is, the respective spangles S are arranged at prescribed positions on the cloth F with the prescribed pitch P. Then, the movable table 11 is positioned so as to position the locking member 13 one further in front of the locking member 13 for locking the spangle S at the frontest part in the sending direction of the movable table 11 at the sewing and attaching position of the sewing machine. Thereafter, the movable table 11 is intermittently sent linked with the vertical movement of the sewing needle 5 and the spangles S are sewn and attached to the cloth F along seams.

The cloth, sequins, and the like are provided on a locking member which is provided upright at a predetermined pitch on a side edge of a movable table provided on an imaginary plane intersecting the vertical movement locus of the sewing machine needle. The sewing machine is operated from that state, and the predetermined pitch is interlocked with the vertical movement of the sewing needle so that the locking member is sequentially located at the sewing position of the sewing needle. To move the movable table intermittently. And as an apparatus for implementing the above method,
A dovetail-shaped locking member having a needle-like shape capable of locking the cloth and the sequins in the inserted state and having a guide groove formed at the center thereof, through which a sewing needle can pass, is erected at a predetermined pitch interval, In addition, a movable table intermittently fed at the above-mentioned predetermined pitch is attached to the sewing machine main body in conjunction with the vertical movement of the sewing needle so that the locking member is sequentially positioned at the sewing position by the sewing needle.

Slit 6 formed between 1 and fixed table 3
The fixed table 3 side, which is an open side, is formed in a semi-cylindrical shape obtained by cutting a half of the fixed table 3 side of an elongated cylindrical body which is erected on the upper side and can be inserted into the circular hole H of the sequins S, and has a sewing machine at its center. A guide groove 19 through which the needle 5 can pass is formed. The upper end of the locking member 13 is cut further obliquely from the fixed table 3 side to the movable table 11 side to form a tapered needle shape, and the upper end portion 13 a is movable with respect to the center of the locking member 13. It is located on the table 11 side. Both side edges from the upper end portion 13a to the portion connected to the fixed portion 18 at the lower end, that is, the guide edges 13b are formed smoothly so as not to damage the fabric F or the yarn Y.

FIG. 3 shows a sewing process of the sequins S by a single chain stitch using a chain stitch sewing machine.
When the sewing machine needle 5 is lifted, the movable table 11 is fed by the pitch P, and then the sewing machine needle 5 descends in the guide groove 19 of the next locking member 13 located at the sewing position.
3, the hole H of the spangle S locked in a state of being inserted.
Inside, the sewing machine needle 5 and the needle thread Y are introduced into the own thread loop YR formed by a looper (not shown) below the fabric F along with the needle thread Y. Subsequently, with the rotation of the looper, the thread of the own thread loop YR comes off from the looper and is wrapped around the sewing machine needle 5, and then the looper engages the needle thread Y of the sewing needle 5 passed through the self thread loop YR. Stop to form the next own thread loop (YR). Then, the sewing needle 5 having the needle thread Y wrapped around the looper rises and is pulled out of the fabric F, and the needle thread Y is also pulled upward through the circular hole H of the sequin S. By repeating this process, the sequins S are sequentially sewn to the fabric F. The work is completed when the fabric F on which the sequins S have been sewn is removed from the locking member 13.

In the sewing process described above, the sequins S are externally fitted to a semi-cylindrical locking member 13 as shown in FIG.
In addition, since the sewing machine needle 5 moves up and down in the guide groove 19 formed inside the locking member 13, the sequins S do not come into contact with the sewing machine needle 5 to be damaged. The needle thread Y that is inserted into the needle hole of the sewing machine needle 5 and pierces the circular hole H of the sequin S and the cloth F together with the sewing machine needle 5 is a sewing line L.
Is guided on the fabric F without being caught by the locking member 13 by the guide edge 13b extending from the upper end portion 13a of the locking member located on the movable table 11 side to the base end side. The needle thread Y is prevented from catching on the locking member 13 when is intermittently fed.

In the above embodiment, the locking member 13 has a semi-cylindrical gutter shape.
It may be a square tube-shaped gutter, or may be formed of a wire along the guide edge 13b. Further, in the above embodiment, it is assumed that the fabric F is a knitted fabric having elasticity.
The case where the sequin S is sewn to the material F by the single chain stitch with the single needle thread Y using the chain stitch sewing machine is shown in the above. However, within the scope of the present invention, the double chain stitch or the regular stitch is used. It is also possible to sew the sequins S onto the fabric F.

The sewing method for sequins and the like according to the present invention is as follows.
As described above, the cloth and the sequins are engaged in a state where the cloth and the sequins are inserted into the locking members erected at predetermined pitch intervals on the side edges of the movable table provided on the virtual surface intersecting the vertical movement locus of the sewing needle. The sewing machine is operated from that state, and the movable table is intermittently moved at the predetermined pitch in conjunction with the vertical movement of the sewing needle so that the locking member is sequentially positioned at the sewing position of the sewing needle. Since it is fed, a large number of spangles can be sewn to the cloth in a predetermined arrangement by the sewing machine, and the sewing operation is easy and reliable, and the work efficiency can be greatly improved.

Further, as an apparatus for carrying out the above method, a needle-like shape capable of locking the cloth and the sequins in an inserted state, and a gutter-like shape having a guide groove at the center thereof through which a sewing machine needle can pass is formed. The locking members are erected at a predetermined pitch interval, and the intermittent feed is performed at the predetermined pitch in conjunction with the vertical movement of the sewing needle so that the locking members are sequentially positioned at the sewing positions by the sewing needle. The movable table attached to the sewing machine body is attached to the sewing machine. It is prevented from being damaged by contact with the needle,
In addition, the needle thread is not hooked on the locking member, and sequins can be reliably sewn with appropriate stitches.
