Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a paint film formed on an exposed part when roof materials are stacked for packaging, transportation, storage etc., by making the thickness of the exposed part smaller than that of an unexposed part. SOLUTION: Roof materials 1 comprising cement board reinforced with wooden reinforcing material comprise unexposed parts 2, in which roof materials 1 of rear stages are stacked, and exposed parts 3 located nearer to the edge of the eaves than the unexposed parts 2. In the roof materials 1, by making the unexposed parts 2 higher than the exposed parts 3, the thickness of the parts 3 is made smaller than that of the parts 2. And coating material is applied to the surface of the part 3 to form paint films 6. As a result, when the materials 1 are stacked for the purpose of packaging, transportation, storage etc., the paint film 6 formed on the exposed part 3 is prevented from directly contacting the upper side and lower side roof materials 1 so that damage to the paint film 6 can be avoided.

2. Description of the Related Art A cement board reinforced with a wood reinforcing material is lightweight and has recently been praised as a roofing material that is roofed on a house to provide earthquake resistance. A coating is applied to improve the weather resistance of the roofing material. Since the roofing material is composed of an unexposed portion on which the roofing material in the subsequent stage is piled up and an exposed portion positioned on the eaves side of the unexposed portion, the above-mentioned coating may be applied only to at least the exposed portion.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Conventionally, a long period of curing is required from the coating of the coating on the exposed portion of the roofing material to the drying and curing of the coating. It takes a long time to dry and harden, and during that time, the roofing materials cannot be stacked for packing, storage, and transportation, which makes the coating process long and inefficient. However, there is a problem in that the coating film directly contacts the roof material on the upper side and receives a local load, and the coating film is easily damaged.

Means for Solving the Problems As a means for solving the above-mentioned conventional problems, the present invention comprises a non-exposed portion (2) on which a roofing material (1) in the subsequent stage is piled up and a non-exposed portion (2). Also the exposed part (3) located on the eaves side, the thickness of the exposed part (3) is set thinner than the thickness of the non-exposed part (2), and the surface of the exposed part (3) is not coated with paint. To provide a coated roofing material (1), wherein the unexposed part (2) is a high step part, the exposed part
It is desirable that the thickness of the exposed portion (3) is set to be smaller than the thickness of the non-exposed portion (2) by making the lower step portion (3).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS One embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS. The roofing material (1) shown in the figure consists of cement board reinforced with wood reinforcing material such as wood chips, wood pulp, wood fiber, wood wool, etc.
A non-exposed part (2) that is overlapped with and is not exposed to the outside,
The exposed part (3) is located closer to the eaves than the unexposed part (2). As shown in FIG. 2, the unexposed part (2) is a high step part and the exposed part (3) is a low step part. As a result, the thickness of the exposed portion (3) is set smaller than the thickness of the non-exposed portion (2).

A plurality of vertical grooves (4) are formed in the middle part of the exposed part (3) of the roof material (1), and the vertical grooves (4) are formed at both end edges.
Is formed with a half groove (4A) having a width approximately half that of the vertical groove.
The exposed part (3) is divided into a plurality of small parts (5) by (4). A coating film (6) is formed on the surface of the exposed portion (3) by applying a paint.

The above-mentioned paints are mainly synthetic resin paints such as styrene resin paints, acrylic resin paints, vinyl acetate resin paints, styrene-butadiene resin paints, urethane resin paints and the like. The synthetic resin paints contain silyl groups. It is desirable to use synthetic resin paints, moisture-curable urethane resin paints, etc. Moisture-curable urethane resin paints are especially cheaper and more desirable than silyl group-containing synthetic resin paints, but moisture-curable urethane resin paints require a large amount of water to cure, and as a result, the coating film should be applied after coating. Takes a long time to cure. However, according to the present invention, as will be described later, even if a moisture-curable urethane resin coating material is used, the roofing material can be stacked immediately after coating.

As shown in FIG. 4, a plurality of the roof materials (1) are stacked, packed, stored and transported. The top roof material (1) is turned upside down and the coating film of the exposed part (3) is turned over. (6) Do not expose to the surface. In the roofing material (1) stacked in this way, the exposed part (3) is thinner than the unexposed part (2), so the exposed parts of the upper and lower roofing materials (1) are exposed.
A gap is formed between the (3) and the coating film (6) of the exposed part (3) does not come into contact with the upper roofing material (1). Therefore, the roof material (1) can be stacked in this manner even when the coating film (6) is in an uncured state, that is, immediately after coating.

The roof material (1) thus stacked is covered with a protective sheet (7) such as cardboard on the front surface, that is, the eaves side, and is bound by a flexible band (8) such as a polypropylene band. Packed, transported and stored. Then, they are brought to the construction site and roofed. At this time, as shown in Fig. 5, the upper roof material (1) is overlaid on the unexposed part (2) of the lower roof material (1), but the upper roof material (1) is piled up. The roofing material (1) is placed in the left-right direction by a half width with respect to the lower roofing material (1). Then, the roof material (1) adjacent to each other on the left and right is combined with the half-grooves (4A) to form a vertical groove (4).

Under normal conditions, a coating film (6) made of a moisture-curable urethane resin coating on the exposed portion (3) of the roofing material (1) is completely cured in about 3 days. Since it takes about 3 days to produce the roofing material (1) and install it on site, just when the roofing material (1) is packed as above and carried into the site and installed, it is exactly the same. The coating film (6) on the exposed part (3) of the roofing material (1) is hardened.

If the non-exposed portion (2) of the roofing material (1) is a high step portion and the exposed portion (3) is a low step portion as in this embodiment, the non-exposed portion (2) and the exposed portion The step formed on the surface between and (3) can prevent rainwater from entering due to the capillary phenomenon.
However, in the present invention, a step may be formed on the front and back surfaces between the non-exposed portion (2) and the exposed portion (3) as shown in FIG. 6, or as shown in FIG. You can put it on.

According to the present invention, even if the roofing materials are stacked for packing, transportation and storage, the coating film applied to the roofing material does not come into direct contact with the upper or lower roofing material, so that damage to the coating material is prevented. It In addition, since the roofing materials can be stacked, packaged, transported and stored immediately after being coated on the roofing material, that is, immediately after production, the curing period required after coating the roofing material can be omitted, and it is inexpensive but the curing period is long. Even if a long moisture-curable urethane resin coating is used, roofing materials can be efficiently produced.
