Treatment of diabetic nephropathy with valsartan
For example, patients with diabetes mellitus for quite some time often have kidney problems.
Conduit disease is observed. One of the observed symptoms is diabetic glomerulosclerosis.
It is called diabetic nephropathy. Nodular hypertrophy in the glomerular loop leads to
Cause contraction of the lumen of the duct, deposition of fibrinoids in the capillary wall and microaneurysm
You. These pathological manifestations manifest clinically in the form of massive proteinuria and hypertension.
You. If diabetic nephropathy is not properly treated, renal function will deteriorate and
It will be the final stage that requires analysis.
Therefore, it is prophylactic to stop the progression of diabetic nephropathy in an appropriate manner.
It is very important to look for an active ingredient that can act on or reduce the symptoms
is there.
PCT application WO92 / 10182 (published June 25, 1992) describes the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
The use of an angiotensin II antagonist for therapy is described. That out

Normal blood of diabetes induced by injection of (eg, 45 mg / kg, intravenous drip)
It can be determined in pressure rats.
The glomerular filtration rate and renal plasma flow areThreeH-inulin or131I-hippuric acid
It can be measured as salt clearance. About the second symptom of diabetes, hypertrophy of the conduit
The antihypertrophic effect of all angiotensin II blockers of formula (I) is
) "39, 1575-1579 (1990), similar to mesenteric conduit weight and glomerulus.
Can be determined by measuring both the volume of
Similarly it can have beneficial effects in the treatment of glomerulosclerosis associated with hyperlipidemia.
You.
The compounds of formula (I) and their medicines which can be used according to the invention in prophylaxis
The pharmaceutically acceptable salts are associated with pathological symptoms that occur in diabetic nephropathy.
Prevents the generation of ductal lesions and increased pressure in glomerular capillaries, for example in the kidney

Provides protection against academic and structural abnormalities, and therefore of renal function.
Stabilization can be guaranteed. Furthermore, the formula (that can be used according to the invention
Pathology resulting in diabetes with the help of the compounds of I) and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts
Of the above symptoms such as proteinuria, glomerulosclerosis, glomerular hypertrophy and high glomerular capillary pressure
Occurrence can be delayed, reduced, or reversed. Therefore, abnormal
The effects of different glomeruli and hemodynamic effects can be corrected and normalized.
