Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 重合体樹脂バインダーおよび光学的に変化し得る薄膜二色顔料フレーク を含んでなる塗料組成物であって、前記顔料フレークが、第一および第二の平行 で平らな表面を有する金属反射層、および前記第一および第二の平らな表面の少 なくとも一方の上に配置された少なくとも1つの透明誘電体層を含んでなる多層 薄膜干渉構造を有し、前記塗料組成物が、光学的に変化し得る薄膜顔料の二色の 一方に類似した干渉色を有する干渉マイカ顔料をさらに含んでなることを特徴と する塗料組成物。 2. 多層薄膜干渉構造が、前記第一および第二の平らな表面の両方の上に配 置された、少なくとも1つの透明誘電体層を含んでなる、請求項1に記載の塗料 組成物。 3. 多層薄膜干渉構造がさらに、前記第一および第二の平らな表面の少なく とも一方の上に配置された、少なくとも1つの半透明金属層を含んでなる、請求 項1に記載の塗料組成物。 4. 多層薄膜干渉構造がさらに、前記第一および第二の平らな表面の両方の 上に配置された、少なくとも1つの半透明金属層を含んでなる、請求項2に記載 の塗料組成物。 5. 前記第一および第二の平らな表面の両側の層配置が互いに対称的である 、請求項4に記載の塗料組成物。 6. 多層薄膜干渉構造が、1.65またはそれ未満の屈折率を有する少なく とも1個の透明誘電体を含んでなる、請求項4に記載の塗料組成物。 7. 多層薄膜干渉構造が、1.65またはそれ未満の屈折率を有する少なく とも1個の透明誘電体を含んでなる、請求項1に記載の塗料組成物。 8. 光学的に変化し得る薄膜顔料フレークが、柔軟性ウェブの上を多層薄膜 干渉構造の層で被覆し、ウェブを多層被覆から分離して多層薄膜干渉構造のフレ ークを製造し、必要であればフレークを加工し、前記平均粒子径および粒子径分 布を与えることにより製造される、請求項1に記載の塗料組成物。 9. 前記干渉マイカが、金属酸化物でカプセル収容されたマイカ粒子である 、請求項1に記載の塗料組成物。 10. 前記金属酸化物が酸化鉄である、請求項9に記載の塗料組成物。 11. 前記金属酸化物が二酸化チタンである、請求項9に記載の塗料組成物 。 12. 前記光学的に変化し得る顔料と前記干渉マイカの組合せ、および前記 バインダーが、0.10:1〜0.40:1の顔料:バインダー比で存在する、 請求項1に記載の塗料組成物。 13. 前記干渉マイカが、組成物中にある顔料の総重量の1〜40%を占め る、請求項1に記載の塗料組成物。 14. 前記干渉マイカが、組成物中にある顔料の総重量の1〜15%を占め る、請求項1に記載の塗料組成物。 15. さらに黒色顔料を含んでなる、請求項1に記載の塗料組成物。 16. 黒色顔料が、組成物中にある顔料の総重量の5%以下である、請求項 15に記載の塗料組成物。 17. 前記干渉マイカが、組成物中にある顔料の総重量の1〜55%を占め る、請求項16記載の塗料組成物。 18. 前記干渉マイカが、組成物中にある顔料の総重量の1〜40%を占め る、請求項1記載の塗料組成物。 19. 請求項1に記載の塗料組成物の層を載せた基材を含んでなる被覆。 20. 前記塗料組成物層が、カラー・プラス・クリア複合材料被覆の着色層 である、請求項19に記載の被覆。 21. 基材が自動車の車体パネルである、請求項19に記載の被覆。
