Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 互いに異なる物質から成り互いに接続可能である部分から成り、容器外 部へ向いており容器底面の外部に配置されている部分には冷媒が供給され、容器 内部へ向いており摩耗部材として形成されている部分が容器の中にある溶融金属 に接触している、直流により作動される冶金容器の底面電極において、前記摩耗 部分(30)が構成部分(32)と構成部分(31)を有し、 − 前記構成部分(32)は溶融金属に類似の金属物質から成り、冷却部分 (20)に接続されている端面(21)が冷却部分の横断面(A)に整合されて いる外部輪郭(33)を有し、作動中に前記底面電極(11)の一部溶融した材 料の流れと溶融金属の流れとを妨げる形状を有し、 − 前記構成部分(31)が耐高温性部材から成り、上記金属製構成部分( 32)に合わせた形状を有することを特徴とする冶金容器の底面電極。 2. 構成部分(32)の形状すなわち溶融材料の流れを妨げる形状が、上下 に積重ねられている円筒部材(34)から成り、冷却部分(20)の方へ向かっ てそれぞれの円筒直径が増加することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の冶 金容器の底面電極。 3. 溶融材料の流れを妨げる金属製構成部分(32)の形状が、中心軸線( I)に平行に冷却部分(20)へ向かって太くなる円錐台形であり、前記円錐台 形の端面すなわち容器内部(10)に面している端面が、冷却部分(20)の横 断面Aの1/2より小さい面積を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記 載の冶金容器の底面電極。 4. 溶融材料の流れを妨げる構成部分(32)の形状が、冷却部分(20) と同一の横断面(A)を有する円筒体から形成され、前記円筒体は、金属物質か ら形成されている構成部分(32)の外に、耐高温性物質から成る構成部分(3 1)を有し、摩耗部分(30)の金属体積(Vmet)と、前記冷却部分(20 ) の端面(21)から溶融材料までの間隔(l)との比すなわちVmet/lが3 0〜300(cm3/cm)であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項から第3 項のうちのいずれか1つの項に記載の冶金容器の底面電極。 5. 耐高温性物質から成る構成部分(31)が、防食性及び耐火性材料、例 えば酸化ジルコニウム等から成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項に記載の冶 金容器の底面電極。 6. 金属製構成部分(32)が、中心軸線(I)に同軸に案内されているス リーブ(39)の形状で形成されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項に記 載の冶金容器の底面電極。 7. 金属製構成部分(32)が、中心軸線(I)に軸線平行に案内されてい るボルト(36)を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項に記載の冶金容器 の底面電極。 8. 金属製構成部分(32)が、中心軸線(I)に軸線平行に案内され金属 製構成部分(32)と耐高温性構成部分(31)とから成るプレート(37)を 有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項に記載の冶金容器の底面電極。 9. 金属製構成部分(32)の横断面が、流れに整合され、前記金属製構成 部分(32)の横断面の形状が、冷却部分(20)の端面(21)から連続的に 、最大で摩耗部分(30)の長さLの2/3の大きさまで幅広がりに形成され、 更に容器内部へ向かって変化する際に横断面Aの1/2より小さい大きさまで減 少することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の冶金容器の底面電極。
