Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install and remove an eyelet fastener by providing a projection receiving hole at the upper end of an opening in a horizontal U-shaped main body shaped to have an upwardly raised hip, and providing a projection that passes through the hole in the upper end from inside the lower end of the opening. SOLUTION: A horizontal U-shaped main body 1 is shaped to have an upwardly raised hip 2, a projection receiving hole 6 is provided at the end of its top surface, rope holes 5b, 5c are bored in the top surface, and a rope guiding recess 9 is provided halfway between the holes. A projection 4 is provided from inside the lower surface of an opening 3 to the projection receiving hole 6, and rope holes 5a, 5d are provided through the lower surface. A projection 4 provided in the opening 3 is set to be normally held in a state in which it passes through the projection receiving hole 6. In use, a rope is passed through the holes 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d in that order and is tied outside the rope hole 5d. An eyelet of a tent, etc., is held by hand, the main body opening is broadened and fitted around the projection 4, and the other end of the rope is secured to a peg, etc. Even if the tent is fanned by wind the eyelet is not undone and can be removed easily by broadening the opening 3 manually.
