Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform removal of snow safely while the person manipulating remains on the ground by attaching a square cylinder having a notch to the tip of a hollow pole whose length is adjustable, furnishing in its rear a sack equipped with no bottom, and by intruding the square cylinder into the snow on the roof. CONSTITUTION: The length of a hollow pole 1 is adjusted so as to suit removal of snow from the roof, and a square cylinder 2 equipped with an opening having a taperd edge is attached to the tip of the pole, and in its rear, a sack 3 having no bottom is installed so as to accomplish a snow removing apparatus. This apparatus is intruded into the end of the roof snow and advanced while the person manipulating remains on the ground, and the cut snow is passed through the sack 3 to be dropped onto the ground. Thereby one is not required to go up on the roof and perform snow removal using a shovel, snow dump, or the like and the operation can be done safely from the ground.
