体で引き続き管を15°傾斜させ1kgf/cm2 で3
分間水圧をかけたが、この場合でも漏水の発生は認めら
れなかった。

て、止水可とう継手本体は、弾性を有する材質よりなり
マンホール削孔面と接する円筒部と、管に接する円筒部
と、この二つの円筒部をつなぐ円錐状の連結部とを有す
る形状を有し、この止水可とう継手本体のマンホール削
孔面側円筒部の外周部にシール材を配し、シール材の片
側または両側には止水突起を設け、シール材背面の円筒
部内周面に設けた拡張バンドを拡張することによりマン
ホール削孔面に止水突起及びシール材を圧着させ、止水
突起にはみ出さない程度にシール材を圧着変形させて止
水することを特徴とする止水可とう継手。
