ログ表示方法において、 電子カタログデータセットに含まれている各電子カタロ
グデータに、商品分類を表すデータと商品番号を表すデ
ータとが制御データとして付加されており、 受信側において、第１ブラウジングモードが設定されて
いる時には、送信側から送出された電子カタログデータ
を受信するごとに、その電子カタログデータに付加され
ている制御データによって表されている商品分類と、ユ
ーザによって指定された商品分類とを比較し、両者が一
致した電子カタログデータのみを画像メモリに格納して
表示装置に表示させ、電子カタログデータが表示装置に
表示されているときに、ユーザによって選択指令が入力
されたときには、表示されている電子カタログデータの
制御データを制御データ記憶手段に記憶し、 受信側において、第２ブラウジングモードが設定されて
いる時には、送信側から送出された電子カタログデータ
を受信するごとに、その電子カタログデータに付加され
ている制御データによって表されている商品分類および
商品番号と、制御データ記憶手段に記憶されている制御
データによって表される商品分類および商品番号とを比
較し、両者が一致した電子カタログデータのみを画像メ
モリに格納して表示装置に表示させることを特徴とする
ディジタル放送システムにおける電子カタログ表示方
