Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater with a deodorizing function used for heating an interior of a room, which is capable of cleanly and comfortably heating the interior of the room and simultaneously effecting deodorization. SOLUTION: This electric heater comprises a main body having an opening in a front face, an electric heater 2 and a reflecting plate 5 covered with a deodorizing catalyst 4 slantly disposed in a vicinity of the electric heater in such a manner as to expanding toward the opening in the front face so that when the electric heater 2 is energized, heating of an interior of a room is effected and the deodorzing catalyst 4 covering the reflecting plate 5 is simultaneously heated to exhibit catalytic activity and offensive odor is deoxidized and decomposed.
