Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability by performing work of changing magazines, conveyed being bundled in a vertical position, into a lateral position and work of changing the positions of bundled parts and open parts if necessary, simultaneously by one work process. SOLUTION: Magazines 13 conveyed on a conveyor 8 being bundled in a vertical position are clamped by face plates 3a, 3b of a clamping part 2. A rotating device 5 is then actuated to rotate the clamping part in circular arc shape by about 90 deg.. The magazines 13 are thereby rotated by about 90 deg. in the state of being clamped by the face plates 3a, 3b so as to be changed into a lateral position. At the same time, a rotating device 7 is put in action, and the face plates 3a, 3b clamping the magazines 13 are rotated by 180 deg. to change the positions of bound parts and open parts. The magazines 13 after the change are placed in the lateral position with the bound parts and open parts in the changed state. ついては、実施例に限らず種々の公知の構成が採用可能
であることは勿論である。そして、上記面盤について
も、この例では、面盤3aを押し軸4aに回転自在に枢着
し、面盤3bを空気圧により回転自在としたが、両面盤を
空気圧その他の自動回転手段により回転するようにして
もよく、面盤の形状についても実施例に限定されない。
さらに、押し軸についても、押し軸4aは固定し、押し軸
4bは空気圧によって進退自在としたが、両押し軸4bを進
退自在としても無論よい。そして、対象となる搬送物に
ついては、雑誌に限らないことはいうまでもない。
