PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve correctness in driving-in and watertightness for concrete sheet piles by a method wherein a joint member made of high elastic resin by extrusion molding in a hooklike S-shaped section is buried in the connecting end face of the concrete sheet pile, being integral with the sheet pile, and the sheet piles are driven into the ground with the joint members of adjoining sheet piles engaged with each other. SOLUTION: Joint members each having an engaging part 2a (2b) composed of a projected part and a recessed part are buried in connecting end faces of concrete sheet piles 1a and 1b used in a retaining wall or a revetment at a harbour and made integral with each of the sheet piles with a plurality of anchors. Then, the projected part at a hook shape of the joint member at one sheet pile is fitted into the recessed part at the hook shape of the joint member at the adjoining sheet pile, and driving-in is executed with the adjoining sheet pile used as a guide. With the concrete sheet piles driven in successively, a wall is constructed and joined parts of the sheet piles are kept from opening. With flexible sealing pieces provided integrally at straight parts of the S-shaped joint member, watertightness can be ensured for a gap when the sheet piles 1a and 1b are joined together. Thereby, correctness can be maintained in driving-in while watertightness can be ensured almost in perfect.
