Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the inside of a car bright by making part of an inclined face flat to constitute a cabinet, and providing a lighting body for illuminating this cabinet in a home elevator car provided with an operation panel having floor registration buttons on the upper inclined face, at a side part side plate of the car. SOLUTION: A side part side plate 3 of a home elevator car 1 is protrusively provided with an operation panel 4 provided with floor registration buttons 6. The depth side of an upper inclined face 5 is partially made flat so as to be able to place a vase 8 or the like on a cabinet 7. A ceiling 9 is provided with a normal lighting body 10 and a lighting body 11 for illuminating the cabinet 7. The lighting body 11 is so formed as to be put on when a car door 2 is opened and to be put out when a person gets off and the car door 2 is closed. An ornament such as the vase 8 can be put on the cabinet according to the taste of inhabitants, and moreover this part is illuminated by the lighting body 11, so that the interior of the car can be in a bright atmosphere.
