本発明は、外壁と該外壁の屋内側に設けられた袖壁とからなる間接採光用壁構造に関する。

【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】
外壁の屋内側には、飾り棚、床の間、書院等の、背面側が壁となった陳列スペースが設けられ、この陳列スペースには インテリア製品や絵画、置き物、彫刻等の鑑賞用の装飾品が飾られると共に、屋内に重厚な雰囲気や落ち着いた雰囲気を付与している。外壁に形成した窓を介し てこれらの陳列スペースに太陽からの光を直接採光しようとすると、陳列スペースを見る住人や訪問者にとって逆光になりやすく、これらの装飾品を鑑賞し難く なると共に、光が強すぎることにより、装飾品の趣を十分に醸し出すことができなくなる。したがって、陳列スペースには、外壁に採光のための窓を形成するこ となく、人工の照明設備を介して明るさを得る方法が一般的に採用されている。

本発明は、外壁と該外壁の屋内側に設けられた袖壁とからなり、前記外壁に開口形成された採光窓を介して採光される太陽からの光を、間接光として前記外壁に面した部分の屋内側に導入する間接採光用壁構造であって、前記採光窓は、遮光用外壁を挟んでその両側に一対設けられ、前記袖壁は、前記遮光用外壁と離間し且つ前記遮光用外壁との重なり部分を保持しつつ、前記一対の採光窓を各々覆うようにして前記遮光用外壁の屋内側に一対突出配置され、前記遮光用外壁の両側の前記一対の採光窓を介して採光される太陽からの光を、前記一対の袖壁により各々反射させ、前記遮光用外壁によりさらに反射させて、前記遮光用外壁を背面壁とする部分の屋内側に両側から導入することを特徴する間接採光用壁構造を提供することにより、上記目的を達成したものである(請求項1記載の発明)。
