【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 車体に固定されるハウジングに軸受部が
形成され、該軸受部に回転シャフトが支承され、該回転
シャフトはアウターミラーを担持するフランジ部と回転
伝達力を伝達する回転伝達ギヤが装着された軸部とを有
して使用位置と格納位置との間で回動されると共に、前
記フランジ部が前記軸受部に圧接される方向に付勢され
た車両用アウターミラー装置において、 前記軸受部に前記回転シャフトに制動力を与える摩擦ク
ラッチ板が設けられ、前記回転シャフトには該摩擦クラ
ッチ板に摺接する摺接部材が設けられ、該摺接部材は前
記摩擦クラッチ板に対面する対面板部と前記回転シャフ
トにその軸方向から圧入される圧入筒部とから構成さ
れ、該圧入筒部は前記回転シャフトに密接する圧入壁部
と圧入力を緩和するために前記シャフトとの間に間隙を
与える間隙壁部とを備えている車両用アウターミラー装
置の制動力付与機構。
