Abstract

SOLUTION: Flexible cable 2 pasted on board 3 and electromechanical conversion element 4 are simultaneously worked. Simultaneously with the working, the land part of common electrode 42 and the land part on positive pole side are cut apart into every individual electromechanical conversion element 4 by grooves 20. Further, by applying electroconducting adhesive 26 to some part of the land part for the common electrode 42 so as to conduct the land parts of the respective common electrodes 42 cut apart by the grooves 20. By applying non-electroconductive adhesive 25 to the land parts o positive pole side, a body 11 is pasted to the board 3. Thus, the flexible cable 2 and the electromechanical conversion element 4 for one line can be formed and a print head can easily be assembled without giving heed to the registering of the flexible cable 2 and to the separation of the pasted part.
