Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and strongly shear and destruct particles of fat or air bubbles suspended in a liquid by arranging a cylindrical member having a large number of holes in the vicinity of stirring blades so as to surround the outer periphery of the stirring blades. SOLUTION: A liquid 3 to be stirred is housed in a container 2 and a stirring blade 5 is suspended from a drive device through a stirring shaft 4. The stirring blade 5 has a standard turbine shape and is formed by radially fixing a plurality of flat plate blades 5b to a disc 5a. A cylindrical member 6 made of a metal net is provided so as to surround the outer periphery of the stirring blade 5 and engaged with the bottom surface of the container 2 through a plurality of buffles 7. The cylindrical member 6 may be made of a net composed of a material other than a metal or a punched plate having a large number of small holes formed thereto by punching. Further, the up and down width of the cylindrical member 6 is set so as to be larger than that of each flat plate blade 5b and the interval between the inner diameter side of the cylindrical member and the leading end of each flat plate blade 5b is set to a degree preventing the contact of both of them.
