Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and securely accumulate and return paper sheets by aligning the paper sheet, which are taken into an accumulating part, at an intake-retreat position retreated from the take-in position of the accumulating part. SOLUTION: Carrying force is applied to a paper sheet A, which is taken into an accumulating part 12 side, by the rotary contact work of an impeller 17 by rotating the paper sheet A for contact so as to be pushed onto a lower accumulating belt 19 surface. The impeller 17 makes a rear end of the paper sheet A jump up when the paper sheet A is carried into the accumulation completing position, and a rear end of the paper sheet A is lifted up and retreated to an upper intake-retreat position P1, and a carry-in space P2 is secured at the intake position of the accumulating part 12 by retreating the paper sheet to the intake-retreat position P1, and carry-in of a following paper sheet is allowed. In the case of backing the accumulated paper sheets, the impeller 17 and the accumulating belt 19 are reversely driven so as to carry the paper sheets A to the returning direction.

Furthermore, in the case where the impeller and the conveyor belt are arranged in the accumulating direction in the accumulating direction so as to be opposed to each other, the sheets are pressed against the conveyor belt surface by the rotational transfer force of the impeller. Since the paper sheet is conveyed, the paper sheet is conveyed while receiving the conveying force from the belt surface. For this reason, even if the paper sheet has a weak stiffness, it can be stably taken in and conveyed without a conveyance failure, and the accumulated paper sheets can be collectively returned by reversing the impeller and the conveyor belt. Furthermore, when the paper sheet stacking device is incorporated in the paper sheet processing device, the paper sheet stacking performance is stable and highly reliable paper sheet processing can be performed.

As described above, when the banknotes are stacked, the subsequent banknotes are stacked while the banknotes are retracted to the retracted position, so that a carry-in space is secured at the stacking position of the stacking unit to ensure stable transfer of the subsequent banknotes. Can be accumulated. In particular, since the bill take-in position and the take-up retreat position are formed in the same stacking unit, it is possible to omit the troublesome stacking operation of repeatedly carrying the bills in order to stack the bills, thereby achieving downsizing and high-speed stacking of the device. be able to. In addition, since the banknotes carried into the stacking unit are stacked and stopped at a fixed position by the positioning stopper piece, the stacking can be naturally carried out at the same time as the carrying in, and the control of the transport timing of the stacking position can be omitted. Further, when the banknotes are fed out due to the alignment and stacking, stable feeding performance without feeding defects can be obtained.
