蛍光体発光色調が現れる。現在紫外線照射下で発光する
蛍光体は、赤、青、緑、黄、橙等各種色調で発光する材
料が現れその発光時の色彩は実に明るく且つ鮮明さもあ
って、非常に心地よい気持ちを与えてくれるものであ
る。時計に於いても現在時刻を表示するのみならず装飾
的価値も大きく求められそのデザイン、色調に於いて非
常に多岐に渡るものが市場に現れている。従来前記した
蛍光体発光文字板はその目盛、数字及び絵柄等の模様に
おいて、可視光線下で、その色調は変えることは出来て
も模様そのものを変化させるに至っていない。本発明は
上記課題に鑑みなされたもので、その目的とするところ
は可視光線下では目盛、文字及び絵柄等の模様及び色調
を呈する文字板を紫外線下では全く異なった模様及び色
調で発光を呈する文字板に仕立てることにある。

字2の色と蛍光体文字4の発光色は異なったものであ
る。更に絵柄3と蛍光体絵柄5は模様的に異なってお
り、又色調も絵柄3と蛍光体絵柄5の発光色は異なった
ものである。可視光線下では、蛍光体文字4、蛍光体絵
柄5は白色半透明樹脂で形成されているため殆ど見え
ず、文字2、絵柄3、がその模様、その色調で見える。
次に暗闇時に於いて文字板基板1上に紫外線を照射する
と蛍光体文字4及び蛍光体絵柄5がその模様、その色調
でもって発光して見える。以上は文字、絵柄が可視光線
下と紫外線下で全く異なった模様、色調が現れるケース
であるが、同一模様であってもいっこうにさしつかえな
い。その模様、色調は自由に選択してよい。

かようなものも作ることが出来るし又色調も随意に選択
して使用できるので全く趣きの異なる2種類の文字板が
現出できると言えよう。
