Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cable connection housing body in such a structure that an excess length of a core wire can be easily handled properly and the safety and airtightness can be increased and the assembly workability can also improved and the cost may be low. SOLUTION: In this closure, a plurality of connector holding sections 10 for connecting core wires which are parallelly arranged in the width direction of a sleeve 1 and a core wire holder 11 and a core wire presser 12, which hold excess lengths of cable core wires led out from connectors housed in the connector holding sections 10 at intervals in the sleeve axis direction, are installed on a core wire guide plate 16 which folds back through a slope section 13 and a bent and folded-back section 14. Since the excess lengths of the core wires can be stored along the core wire guide plate 16, the excess lengths of the core wires can be easily stored properly and the sleeve can be assembled efficiently with labor being lessened. Furthermore, the work can be done at one side and therefore the workability at a cable connection can be remarkably increased and the cable connection work is done exactly and the very reliable sealing of the cables in the sleeve can be secured without giving bad effects on the transmission characteristics.
